Mr. Scrib's Pizza — Restaurant in Muskegon

I cannot get enough of this Pizza. It was the very first pizza place that I tried when I moved to Muskegon, (literally move-in day for a crowd) and I have continued to go there ever since. I have only been to this particular location, never any of the others. I LOVE that there is a drive-thru - how convenient, and I honestly have never seen this before. I have only used it once, and that was because there was no one in line. I think most people use it, because on a late Friday or Saturday night the drive-thru line is backed up with 8-10 cars with no one parked to walk in. Actually I never considered that maybe they close the inside restaurant and drive-thru is the only thing available. Regardless, even when I have went to pick up pizza, there is never any customers inside. Another first for me, the pizza comes in a bag instead of a box! Maybe not the most convenient, but at least it is environmentally friendly, and quite possibly keeps the cost of the pizza lower, hopefully passed onto the customers. The pizza is GOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I have never had a bad pizza here. They are loaded with toppings, they are exactly what you ordered, yes they are incredibly greasy, but it is pizza so that is what we all expect. The pizzas are cut into squares, not triangles. I also love this - it is so much easier to feed a crowd. Plus when you have people like myself that do not eat the outer crust, I don't have to waste food, and I can just take inside pieces. I know that they have an array of other things on the menu, but I have never gotten anything other than pizza. A few other notes - yes the pizza is a bit on the expensive side, but it is very good. Additionally, the customer service has never been above 'okay'. There is a small dining area, but I have only ever done takeout and the atmosphere isn't that...

When I'm near you, I lose all self-control.

I had to taste you in the car before I even got to the highway, so I tore part of what covered you open and got you on my tongue.

I had to taste you 3 times 😜, but I knew that it wasn't enough. I just had to stay calm. What we were doing wasn't safe, and if I wanted more, then I just had to control myself and wait until I got you home.

When I got you home, I ripped open everything that was completely covering you and got you on my tongue again. The way you tasted was more than miraculous, and it is more than incredible.

Words to describe your flavor just don't exist, so forgive me when I lose my thoughts as my eyes roll to the back of my head when your juices flow to the back of my tongue.

I know you're worried that I tasted too much of you, and now what we had may feel like you're mostly gone but I reassure you that just because you're so far away doesn't mean I'll go look for another piece.

I won't say you're my favorite because that implies there are others, in which, again, I reassure you that there is not.

What I will say is that the only flavor I have ever enjoyed this much comes from you. So here I am, lost with you mostly gone, waiting for us to be together again. I will wait, I will remain loyal, I will not lose the memory of your flavor dripping down my tongue to another who has no true meaning to me.

I promise I'll always make the effort to come and get you. I'll always show up for you. If you ever come to Grand Rapids, then time for us to be together will be more frequent.

I ordered a pizza from here. I asked for well done- it was not. I was told a 40 minute wait before pick up- got there in 40 minutes and the pizza was warm but definitely not fresh seemed like it had been sitting in warmer for a while. THEN as my family ate their pizza I had 3 pieces for myself .As Im chewing my first piece I pull a 1" piece of plastic out my mouth that was baked right into the pizza. I called scribs then I took them the plastic and my remaining 2 pieces of pizza and wasnt given a full refund because I wasnt returning at least half of the pizza they said. This is unacceptable since I was told by the employee that they cut their own ham and that plastice looks like its from the ham. My children could have choked on this and didnt even have ham on my pizza.I DESERVE A FULL REFUND AND I WILL BE CONTACTING SOMEONE ABOUT...
