I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience here was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be said.
I went with my wife a few days ago. When I walked in to place a takeout order, I approached the front to ask if I could do that there. The hostess, Emily, didn’t say a single word. Instead, she just pointed in the direction I needed to go, without any kind of greeting or explanation. It wasn’t just silent, it was rude and dismissive. As I walked over to the counter, Emily slowly followed behind me, dragging her feet like she couldn’t care less. When she finally got there, she asked for my name. I told her, and she looked at me with this irritated, almost disgusted expression, then looked back down and typed it in. The entire time we interacted, she looked annoyed and gave me dirty looks, there was zero effort to be respectful or polite. I was holding out a $20 bill clearly in her line of sight, but she still asked me twice if I was paying with cash. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it just felt like she wasn’t paying attention at all or just didn’t care. When I handed her the cash, she put it in the register, then weirdly reached back for the same bill, looked at me with another dirty look, and then pulled out her phone to do simple math to figure out my change. The total was $14 and some change, anyone working a register should be able to handle that without needing a calculator. I sat down to wait, and every time I looked up, she was staring at me with that same irritated expression. It made the whole wait uncomfortable. I’ve worked in food service myself, so I get that people have bad days. But the way she treated me wasn’t just a little off, it was flat-out disrespectful and unnecessary. The only reason I’m giving any credit is because the food came out super-fast and it was really good. Also, the young lady who brought out my order was the complete opposite, friendly, smiling, and actually seemed happy to be doing her job. She deserves recognition for that. If I come back, it’ll be for the food, not the service at the front. Hopefully, management takes a look at how their staff are treating people who walk...
Read more20240704T1540 - I was ordering through the website and it would not let me get multiple deals at once. So at around 1:40 p.m. I made 2 separate orders to be ready at 2:40 p.m. When arrived at 2:52 p.m. (mistakenly told Brie 2:46) the girl at the counter showed me the second order (10 boneless BOGO wings) that I made that was already sitting there when I arrived. Ticket time 13.2 minutes. She went to go check on my other order. She came back with my first order (2 6-wing 1 fries 1 drink) at 3:11. Ticket time 33.3 minutes. That means my first order wasn't even started until after I had arrived. Mistakes happen. But I had cold wings, so I asked to speak to the manager Brie and explained the situation. She explained the options she was authorized to offer me, I chose a free BOGO 10-wings on my next visit over a remake, as she noted Thursday is their busiest day and it will probably take 30 minutes for a remake. What could have been an overall poor experience was saved by an excellent manager. She was professional, polite, and helpful. Thank you, Brie!
20221227T1500 - Haven't been to B-Dubs in years. Ordered the $11 lunch Spicy Garlic wings & 2 Bird Dogs. Food came out so pretty I snapped a picture. The fries were hot, crispy, and well seasoned. Wings were roughly 3" long, just the right amount of spicy. Bird Dogs were stuffed with ingredients and tasted so good. The staff was prompt, polite, and professional. I was checked on at least 3 times after my food was brought to me. My only real complaint is the wifi. When I arrived it was pretty empty but with full bars I was only getting 2.0/0.68 Mbps. Changing the test server to Hulbert resulted in 6.0/0.64 Mbps. I would suggest increasing your speed package or getting a better performing wifi router. In contrast, my LTE data hit 30.0/9.0 Mbps. But that's a very...
Read moreVisited today [Monday, Nov 25] @ 8PM: There was only a handful-max of 10 other vehicles in the lot, get in, lots of seats to choose from, the waiter who seats you was friendly. The guy who served us was super friendly, and proper with the sirs and maams, handled things beyond what we asked, even bagged up some raw veggies to give to my doggie in the car waiting patiently. Even put it on the table beside my keys while I was talking with my husband and gave a quick 'heres your to go baggie for your pup'. Lets talk food now instead of service: I got the cheeseburger because I am not much of a wings person, and husband got a different type of burger. For mine, I got lettuce only and added the ketchup. Here's how it tasted: very juicy, was definitely done all the way, had that awesome grilled taste like what you would find in a charcoal grill. It was great! 5 out of 5 for my burger! For hubs he got the cheese curd bacon burger, heres what he says: had the taste of the charcoal grill, and the juicyness similar to mine, however the cheese curds just didnt hit it off for him, not the issue of doneness, just the issue of taste and texture that he says he likes the burger not the cheese curds. So that specific type he will not get again. He rates that burger a 4.5 out of 5, would be 5 if it weren't for the cheese curds that just didn't hit it off with him.
Appearance of restaurant: 5/5 Very clean, well maintained and lots of staff making sure everything was right in appearances. Atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Even for a sports bar.
Food & Beverages: 5/5
Services from staff: 6/5
Were there any cons: nope, even for the cheese curd part, still not worth docking majorly and isn't a con. Pro's listed...
