Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Muskogee

Whenever I visit this particular sonic location it's usually late, around ten or later.. My order always gets messed up, takes five times longer than it should, and I have to deal with crackheads every time, with more tattoos on their neck than they have teeth and seem to be incapable of forming a complete, coherent, intelligible sentence.. Of course it's in a ratty part of town so I'm sure they're scraping the bottom off the barrel for employees...So tonight I tried again, hoping it might be better, and not wanting to drive out of my way for another drive thru.. Plus I'm thinking, it's just sweet tea and popcorn chicken, how hard can that be? And there's only one car in line! And three in the stalls! Bingo! So I pull up to the order screen, wait the usual five minutes for some moron to say in their BEST deliverance voice, "welkumtasonkcanitakeyaordapleez?", undeterred, I asked for the sweet tea and popcorn chicken, was answered with some unintelligible garble, and drove to the window, where the one car was still waiting.. After a while some meth mistress came out to bring my drink, and I noticed immediately it was unsweet instead of sweet.. Slightly irritated, I just simply asked the girl if she could bring some sweet n low.. You could tell it took about five seconds for that to register.. Ten minutes later, no sweet n low, nothing, car in front finally peels out and leaves, so I pull up, waiting STILL for a small popcorn chicken.. "They must've had to pluck the sucker" I thought.. I just knew when it finally came five minutes later there would be some sweet n low and maybe just maybe if the planet's all lined up, somebody might say, "I'm sorry about your wait, sir, hope you have a nice evening".. But Nooo, instead I get some Dom Deluise look alike goober who pushes the small sack out the window and just looks at me funny. I think he was gay Idk .. Then he blurted out, "see you next time" to which I firmly replied, I DOUBT IT... Then it was my turn to peel out.. You might have better luck with the day shift, but if it's after ten at night, do yourself a favor and grab some road kill and start chomping.. At least you'll know what you're getting and won't have to wait all night and deal with druggies... I gave them many tries but I've had it. They deserve this review..and...

Two months ago I gave this Sonic location in Muskogee 5 stars, and spoke of how good their food had been lately. Today, March 5th, there lucky to get one star from me. The wife and I sent our onion rings back twice. First they were burnt, second time under cooked. The double meat bacon & toaster cheeseburgers were barely tolerable, I requested pickle and got none. My wife couldn't finish her's, it was kind of tough to chew. The manager gets credit for coming to my car and trying to take care of, and explain the problem, offering substitutes. This day the shipment of onion rings they received from their supplier, were defective, and people had been sending them back with complaints, all day. They wouldn't cook up right. Thanks to the day manager for trying to make it right, but the fries were not good either. Boy, what happened to this Sonic??? It was doing so good two months ago. I as a customer suggest you fix it quickly. Were considering not coming back. Loose to many of us, and you guys loose your paycheck. I mean this complaint respectively. I'm not being smart at you. You want reviews, you got one from me for this bad day at the East Olkmogee location. Sorry guys, I know serving the public ain't easy. Thanks for your efforts anyhow, but this is no excuse. Worst suppertime experience we've had in a long while. By the way we went home hungry and wasted $19.00 on this meal. We should have been fully refunded. Instead we ate what we could of the lame burgers, got are substitutes to late to eat with them, even those were lame, and went away very...

I'm shouting out a great THANK YOU too the manager and staff at the Sonic on West okmulgee in Muskogee which is the one I will always use from now on for going out of their way beyond all they are required to do to help me with an order the other day and made everything exactly perfect! I believe Jennifer is the manager's name (I think) but she went above and beyond to make us footlong chili cheese Coney's because since they've been on sale they keep running out of buns .... when the East side location where I live on York Street refused , I mean refused to accommodate me in any way ... the west side simply took two 6-in buns and made footlong chili cheese coneys! how is that for perseverance! Thank you to the west side! I'll never go back to the east side, pitiful pitiful people and rude and would not take two 6-in buns and put them together, literally refused when I asked them would they do this for me. so I think whoever's the manager there should be fired cuz they are not management material. And YAY West Side Sonic in Muskogee you guys rock!!! Thank you for being so kind when the whole world was stressed on Christmas Eve day! God bless you and you deserve a raise today. P. S.
