The Fish Hut — Restaurant in Muskogee

I was just passing through town around lunchtime and have been craving Fried Flounder and home fries. I did an online search for fried flounder and the search resulted in a list of seafood and fish restaurants, none of which offer fried flounder. I investigated the restaurants, read the reviews and decided to try The Fish Hut. At first I thought the prices were a little steep, based on the pics of the food and what came with the combo. Thinking the fish fillets were about the same size as some other fish restaurants, I ordered the 4 piece fish combo (8.99) and a fish taco. Was I wrong! The fish fillets in the combo were very generous and DELISH!!! I started with the fish taco (never had a fish taco before). I've been missing out... Next I attacked the 4 piece fish combo with skillet potatoes and hush puppies. The fish is wonderful! The skillet potatoes are very similar to home fries (just need some sauteed onion) and again - Delish! So glad I decided to try The Fish Hut! Of the 4 pieces of fish, the skillet potatoes and hush puppies, I managed to eat 2 bites of the potatoes, 1 fish fillet and a hush puppy.
