Franco's Pizza — Restaurant in Na-Au-Say Township

I was in a all to familiar spot needed to get dinner for the family so I choose an ace in the hole classic neighborhood spot. I looked at the menu found the fried chicken dinner for $5.75 and a cheese pizza for a steal w/coupon. When I called I asked HOW MUCH CHICKEN IN THE MEAL DEAL I was told a whole chicken well what a surprise I asked twice and twice I was told the same same thing. Well needless to say when I got home a seen that it was a half a chicken I called explained the situation to whom ever answered the phone and explained had I had been properly informed I would have simply ordered two. Well the person I was speaking to said they would credit me for the dinner, cool right!? The bad thing was I ordered dinner for the family who was on their way home from work, explained that I wasn't looking for a credit and I needed to get food on the table for dinner, so the person on the phone said hold on I'll let you talk to FRANCO. I explained the situation to FRANCO who said to me "a whole chicken for $5.75!? come on really" I then said well that's why I asked then told him that the person on the phone offered me a credit and that I wasn't wanting a credit and was wondering what else can be done to remidy the situation. I apologised for being misinformed and then... Silence... I then said to MR. FRANCO that I'd never make this mistake again. So buyer beware if you're uncertain and ask and misinformed oh well. Just ordered a Tuna salad from Franco's. The first one I've had in a verryyy long time. I can never find tuna without celery and now I have. It was the best salad I've had in a really long time. The portion was huge too! Along with my salad, I got some cheesy garlic bread, which was a HUGE portion, for barely 2$. Taste was fantastic! I ordered my husband a cheeseburger grinder, and it looks great and hubby says it taste as good as it looks. And the last thing I ordered was a BLT. The bacon was cooked perfect and they made it exactly as I asked. A+++++ for everything I got from them. Customer service over the phone was super friendly, and delivery was nice and quick. They even made accommodations for me, because I only had a 100$ bill. The delivery driver was prepared with exact change for me. Moral of the story, great food, great service and just all around great place. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. I will continue to order from Franco's and recommend any and all of my friends here. Thanks for a kickass...

Wings: small, broken, so hard to eat and hardly any meat. The way the are cooked would be great... if there was something to the Wings. Not sure how you even get them in such a horrible quality.

Garlic bread with cheese: dry, not much flavor. Should've passed on it. Waste of money 💯

Pizza: well... i got the wrong pizza type. Deepdish. Was supposed to get a regular pizza with stuffed crust which was +$4. Pizza sauce on top was dried out, no stuffed crust. Honestly had i known i was gonna get the deepdish i would've ordered from lumalnatis or giordanos.

The jalepeno poppers and breaded mushrooms: nothing to brag about.

Overall... very disappointed. Food is expensive especially when you get pizza and Wings. When both suck you gotta wonder how they even stay afloat. I would be surprised if the workers brought this stuff home for themselves. I'm sure if it's free they would but otherwise they'd probably pass. I know i will be. 1 and done. 1 star is too many.
