Been wanting to go to this restaurant since they advertised that it was opening. We finally went, the atmosphere was great (as far as lively and beautiful views). We were seated party of 4. We order the 1st round of drinks, from then on We had to keep asking if we could get more drinks. It took a total of 2 and a half hours to get our food. We got there just before 7 and the last meal came out at 9:30. We ended getting it to go. Our 1st meal came out around 8:45, 2nd meal around 9, we asked for the last meal to go, due to the amount of time we had been there. The food was ok, atmosphere was great, but service was horrible. No apologies, no nothing. We got, "We are busy", that's it. Before I wrote the review, I read others reviews. I noticed the owners will respond to positive reviews, but not negative reviews. I feel like this shows lack of accountability and care when things aren't right. We live near by and there is definitely a lot of other places to eat and with better service. It could had been an of day, but at least they could had kept the drinks coming and or something. Very...
Read moreDuring our recent visit to El Navegante 718, we were warmly greeted upon arrival around 8:30 PM and assured that the restaurant was still open. We were seated upstairs, where the open-air setting had a great view. Our waitress, Julitssa, was exceptionally fluent in English, which made our experience even more comfortable. She offered excellent suggestions. The Lobster Cream with Arepas de Coco was outstanding, as were the Pastelillos. Her recommendation of the Pink Shrimp Fettuccini was spot-on, and the passion fruit juice complemented our meal perfectly. Located in the heart of the Malecón de Naguabo, El Navegante 718 offers a varied menu with something for everyone.
We highly recommend El Navegante 718 to anyone visiting the Naguabo area. Our experience was a perfect blend of delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We look forward...
Read moreThe mixed seafood salad was a bold and sensuous statement in today's post-modern culinary landscape. Freshly made curious cocktails provided an unparalleled accompaniment to this delight of a dish. My dinner companions selected a whole fried red snapper, which was presented enticingly along with a garlic butter sauce upon request. My guests could not help but to be pleasantly overwhelmed by, what they described as, the perfect orchestra of balanced flavor, tactile texture and scintillating aromas. In summation; I like Dat...
