El Coral restaurant is located in Naguabo. The food was good. The plate on the left was a mixto of seafood food with mofongo in a garlicky sauce. The dish-on the right was a spicy crabmeat mofongo dish. I believe the restaurant should disclose that the crabmeat was as not fresh crabmeat but imitation crabmeat. Nonetheless both plates were good. What was unfortunate about this restaurant was the service. Our server was more concerned with eating behind the bar then tending to her guest. She never once checked on us to see if the food was to our liking or to ask if we needed anything else. The salad that accompanied my spicy crabmeat mofongo, was wilted brown lettuce. When I pointed it out to our server she never apologize and stated “I’ll tell the kitchen”. Mind you, it was 5:00pm light dinner crowd and this was our second visit to this restaurant. We ordered a beer and glass of white wine…. 15 minutes pass, we look up and she’s behind the bar just chilling…. and only then did she bring us our drinks which were just sitting on the bar. So, although the food was good, my hubby and I won’t return due to their consistency with...
Read moreWent with my parents to this restaurant that was highly recommended by family friend. We went early afternoon to avoid crowds, it was a Friday. There were 2 family seated. The atmosphere is beautiful besides the flies when you are eating, typical anywhere in PR when eating open area. Server was very nice and attentive and actually did a great job. It took 1 hour to receive my parents dish. My parents ate and I waited, and waited, and waited and my food was still not out. Server came and informed that they made a mistake in my dish and were redoing it. I was okay with that, things happen. But then I waited and waited and waited. At this time it has been another 40 minutes. My parents finished eating and my dish was still not ready. I finally went up to the server and asked them to just get my meal to go because I'm not waiting any longer. Server apologized but it wasn't his fault. Gladly paid $230 with tip but will not be returning. I live out of PR and was very eager to eat a good meal,...

2-We try the restaurant. Now that is a different story. It is a seafood restaurant but the seafood is bad. We had de “ fish Sierra “ was horrible. Fried on overuse oil. Was a disrespect to see the portions. Super small and the “ mofongo “ Was like 2 onces cup size. THE WORST PART ( on a Sunday) noise!! They are happy with the kako clientele Can ams 4x4 with mega loud speakers. Can even enjoy the bad meal. Then the flies, lots of them. They call themselves restaurant but in reality is a poorly managed “ cafetín “. Place was empty and still the employees were lazy and rude. Do not eat there. Go across the street...
