TerraVento — Restaurant in Naguabo

[Worst customer service ever.]

In response to your reaction due to my previous review, I'll provide more details for your understanding.

We asked the parking attendant if he can recommend a restaurant with a/c saloon because we are with my elderly parents.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the first response from the host was "we don't have space". I asked him if possible to accommodate my parents on the a/c area while we wait for a table. He said "No", then the "manager" asked about my request, his response was the same, stating that we have to sit outside.

Then, we decided to leave.

Gratefully, we visited El Makito Rest. Even though they had a full saloon, they provided us with options full of empathy, providing excellent service and especially taking care of my elderly parents needs.

We encourage this restaurant management to replicate El Makito Rest best practices and professionalism.

In Puerto Rico right now on the second day of my first real family vacation with my husband and my boys. We each get to pick a few things to do and one of mine was TerraVento. I saw a few reviews and thought it might be good. And they exceeded my expectations. Our server said her English wasn't that great and I said that's ok, my Spanish isn't that great but we'll make it work. And we did. I ordered the mofongo with shrimp and she suggested the creamy garlic sauce. It's easily the best thing I've ever eaten. The owner checked on us the whole time. The restaurant was recommended by a bartender at El Conquistador after we told him we would be heading in that direction. The food is simply awesome … had mofongo with churrasco the first time, and my wife the seafood mixed salad … both were great! Came back a second time and ordered churrasco con mofongo instead (more meat!) and it was just as awesome! My wife had the “ensalada mixta de mariscos” a second time! Great service too! The location at el malecón de Naguabo is great. El malecón is also a very picturesque and vibrant waterfront scene in the east coast of the island with tons of bars and restaurants.
