Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Napavine

Love the food at this place, but due to the service provided they get low rating.

Went to order two egg and cheese biscuits. As the advertising states they are egg and cheese I assume they come with egg and cheese. Find out they put bacon on it. So it's not really a egg and cheese biscuit is it? Politely ask them to leave the bacon off, I'm aware I'm paying for it regardless if I want it and in ok with that. I just don't want bacon. The manger says, we can't do that but you can take it off. I assume that means they see pre made... Not the case. So I ask him again, just to confirm "They are not pre made, and you won't make it without the bacon, even though it is advertised as a egg and cheese biscuit and you want me to pick it off?" He just says sorry, but that is correct. Correct me if I'm wrong in my reasoning, but if it's labeled as a specific thing and I'm ordering it to be made according to the advertising, why go through this trouble and tell me you have to leave the bacon on when it doesn't come pre made? Takes more time to put it on than just leave it off. I used to go to this place at least 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately they have lost my business from here on. As a manager, you must feel good losing a $24 a week profit, or maybe you don't care. I am just one person after all and when had one person ever affected a company that size... Oh and by the way I've had it done before at plenty of places,...

I just want to give a shout out to Brian, I think his name is. There was a misunderstanding today, and he went above and beyond to take care of us.

Backstory: Someone in my group had gastric bypass surgery. So the amount of food she can eat is small. She asked to buy a kid’s meal and the gentleman who took her order (not Brian) made it sound like she couldn’t purchase it because she’s an adult. She was feeling very embarrassed and disappointed.

So when Brian came to our table to hand us our food I asked him why she couldn’t buy a kids meal. He told us of course she could! And proceeded to get her the meal without hesitation. He wouldn’t even accept her payment, he just brought her the meal. This made her feel so happy she was almost in tears.

Thank you Brian. You really made our visit today a blessing.

About the rest of our experience: the food was good (this isn’t our first time eating Carl’s Jr - we love the food here). I almost always buy myself the jalapeño double cheeseburger lettuce wrapped. And I would like to add, Carl’s Jr across the many locations I’ve visited, they know how to wrap a burger! It’s more messy to eat it this way; but as I tell my daughters, a messy burger means it’s delicious! This burger is a good portion for the money. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy foods with some added spice; it’s not too spicy, it’s the perfect...

We went in, around 9pm because we needed fuel attached to the Love's Travel (they're inexpensive in this area) and to grab a bite to eat.

Hopped into the Carl's Jr. there, and the store was clean, sans the dust on the window sills, but it wasn't super thick, so it was kept clean.

We ordered our food, and sat down after getting our drinks. One of the drink dispensers was giving out more concentrate than anything else, so after the second or third time, we went into the Love's attached and got it there.

A lady was sweeping up the floor, while two or three others were talking behind the counter after we ordered our food. We waited around 12 minutes for our food, while it wasn't busy, because people were still standing around behind the counter.

We finally got our food. Well, it came in a bag because no one asked if it was for 'here' or 'to go'. So we didn't get a number, nor a tray. We used napkins to keep our food off the table.

The fries were dead (they were barely even warm), and the food was mediocre. While you get a lot for what you pay, there was more ketchup, mustard, and mayo on it that it was overall unappealing.

Also overheard that the person sweeping the floor was going to be the only person on after 11pm, which is downright ridiculous.

This place needs help, and it makes me question management...
