I must truly and wholeheartedly say that it was a beautiful welcome back to the pacific Northwest. from the initial encounter, everyone was jovial and looked happy, and inviting. the place was immaculate with cleansiness. the icing on the cake was when i had to do a 150 mile roundtrip on the account of leaving my brand new computer and android tablet at the facility. when i called(excuse me for not remember the barristas name it was close to closing 2 nights ago) but she was delighted that i called and she ensured that it would be waiting here and she commented that she wished i didnt have to make the drive back becasue she wished she could overnight it. She commented that the manager was the one that found it. when i returned, i had the pleasure of meeting the manager and engaged with the barristas as a whole and expressed my gratitude. when i go to Portland i will not go to any starbucks until i reach the one 1290 Rush Road. I have been a Starbucks customer since the 90s and I shall...
Read moreWe've traveled I-5 from Canada to Oregon regularly for more than 10 years and this great truck stop at Love's Travel Stop in Napavine has been a weekly stopping point, but the Starbucks here sucks and gets worse everytime. The place is filthy and disheveled, always smells of burnt bread or dirty ovens, almost always one of the two dirty bathrooms is out of order and often BOTH. Never seen anyone approximating a manager or franchise owner on duty. Travelers want restrooms when they stop for food and beverages. We don't expect you to provide public restrooms, but we no longer spend money at stores that do not have clean, working restrooms for paying customers, and we leave to spend money at places that do...

As a truck driver, I had already parked my truck and trailer in the lot, which makes it impossible to go through the drive-thru. I explained my situation politely and asked if they could make an exception, but the staff refused to serve me.
This left me with no option, despite being a paying customer who simply wanted a coffee. I feel this is unfair treatment, especially for drivers like me who cannot take large trucks through a drive-thru. Starbucks is known for customer care, but this was the worst experience I’ve had. I hope the company can review this policy or train staff to handle such situations...
