Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Naperville

I generally never leave bad reviews. But this needed to be done because people should know. I ordered the party platter 30 pieces (essentially 10 sandwiches) 60+ dollars. Placed my order online.. even called after placing to make sure they got the order correctly. Come the day of the pick up I get my box of sandwiches and went home. Party starts people start eating sandwiches... my pregnant wife and her family who are all vegetarians say, “where are the veggie sandwiches?” I ordered 4 veggie sandwiches or 12 prices. There’s isn’t any... I call the store, spoke to someone who apologized said will talk to the manager. Managers calls back and says he won’t give a refund even for just the 4 sandwiches.. won’t provide any additional sandwiches... and then asked me to come with sandwiches and box during the party so he can see what he screwed up. I mean really? Do these people really think I would lie about veggie sandwiches? Steak, bacon or even the Italians are worth a fight over but veggies it’s just bread mayo and cheese, & it’s not even warmed up!!? Come on man!! So we had to throw out some 10+ sandwiches. I’m not unreasonable man, I didn’t ask for afull refund, I only asked for them make the sandwiches and drop them off (I live 5 minutes away so freaky fast) but I only got hung up on. Needless to say this is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a fast food joint. So if you decide you get party pack here don’t assume the people who work can read or management is willing to step and take responsibility for their errors. You guys are my local JJ and I’ll never come...

Anyone who looks at my history of reviews knows that I typically leave positive reviews. So it gives weight to the fact that I'm leaving a negative review. The service at this location was disrespectful. I placed an order for two free sandwiches using LEGITIMATE rewards (freaky reward and birthday reward). The order was successfully placed online (eg. the system let me place the order). When I arrived I was told that I only receive one sandwich as I exceeded the "one free sandwich per day limit". Honestly, this sound made up on obscure. The manager was rude to me, disrespectful, and made me feel insignificant. The truth is clear - the people at this location only care about profits. Take your business somewhere else, or at least to a different location. My recommendation to this location is to train managers on distinguishing legitimate rewards (eg. birthday, freaky rewards earned) vs illegitimate rewards (eg. creating multiple accounts for one user). As a note, my used reward was never returned.

UPDATE: I spoke with Jimmy John's Corporate, and they confirmed that my reward was legitimate and they put the credit back on the account. The manager of this location was contacted and trained and correct interpretation of rewards. I again recommend that the manager at this location shows respect and gives benefit of the doubt to the customer. It feels bad doing the right thing and being assumed...

Ordered around 8:38pm tonight. Ordered a sandwhich and jimmy bbq chips with two sides of kickin ranch, no chips ever showed up and she asked me twice about my order and my sandwhich also had ONE piece of turkey on it!!!!!! And also had oregano on it and thats not what had requested to be on it and thats all i can taste and somehow that was mistaken for oil and vinegar that is not on my sandwhich. Literally repeated twice. Which was weird cause i havent had any mistakes with this location since i have been ordering from them, i get that its the end of the night but i felt like my order may have been rushed and not cared about!!! Cant even eat it!

Edit- 3/4/2023: I spoke with the manager today at 12:46pm and she told me she has to stick to policy and couldnt offer me anything but that she would call her GM, she just called me back at 1:06pm and said her GM said there was NOTHING they can do about it, no discount no new order, nothing! She claims that meat is weighed on a scale, that flimsy piece of meat! Any other time I have ordered it has MUCH MORE meat on it so I know im being lied to! I will just have to get a dispute thru my bank now! I am very shocked this is how they conduct business. I will not order from this...
