Anne's Cakes — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I went to the Trousdale location to buy cake slices. Thinking it was her storefront. It is not. It is where she makes the cakes and sells them to local restaurants. Mainly or maybe just in Green Hills. You can place an order with her for a whole cake for $40. She does cakes for The Picnic in Green Hills and Cole’s Restaurant. The slices are $4.99 at The Picnic. Not bad. I got the coconut and strawberry. I wasn’t impressed. It was not bad, just not real good. The strawberry cake is just a strawberry flavored cake. Like maybe she took white cake and added strawberry flavoring. Cole’s Restaurant sells their slices for $7 or 7.50, maybe they are bigger slices. I don’t know. These are not layer cakes. It’s just a large pan cake. For the best coconut cake I highly recommend Mccabe’s Pub. You can buy slices or a whole cake...

Mrs. Anne is as sweet as pie. I ordered a strawberry cake last week to celebrate a 100 day health and wellness goal and let me tell you, there’s a serious foodie that lives inside me & that cake was everything I wanted and more!! Consequently, I called again yesterday to order a German chocolate cake to celebrate the heavenly birthday of my late loved one. Not only did she accommodate my last minute request, she also took interest in my story and we had a good laugh together sharing good old memories. She also not only blessed me with muffins for myself & my children but also, a genuine warmth, hug, and a smile. You can’t buy that kind of GOODness in stores. We need more people like her in the world! World class...

This place makes the BEST pumpkin chip muffins I have ever had the pleasure of eating. These muffins have been a staple of my diet since coming to Nashville back in '12. They have the perfect balance of pumpkin flavor and chocolate chips, and are extremely moist, even days later. Even though they make a "skinny" version, don't let that dissuade you from trying that one! It is just as good as the regular, and honestly, if you have the opportunity to grab even one of these pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, buy as many as you can physically carry or as many as you can financially purchase.
