Dammmnnnn this place slaps. It started with some tortilla chips. But not just any chips. Hot. Salty. Crispy. Delicious.

The chips come with free salsa but I also wanted guacamole (for a fee, of course). Loved it. So much lime and cilantro and pico de gallo. Delicious.

Then came the main event. I thought, "shoot, I shouldn't have eaten the extra chips" because I ordered ALL of it.

I got a caldo (lamb soup), an empanada and a pupusa. My husband got the carne asada.

So ...the empanada was light, crispy and delicious. Came with a little side salad with queso fresco and crema. That would have been enough. But the food is so good, you won't be able to stop

The pulpusa came with its own salsa which is more like a picante hot sauce - more vinegar and less Chile - and this incredible pickled cabbage with oregano. So. yum.

My husband's carne asada was bomb. The rice perfect and the salsa Verde was so good. I ate that too. And, the tortillas were fresh and handmade. He got like 6 which is more than you usually get without having to ask for more and feeling like a real jerk

1st red flag was it is lunch hour and it's empty 2cnd red flag was when we ordered our tea it came in a bottle 3rd was the blatant lie when asked if their tortas were made traditional .... not even close And then..... there was the bone in the chicken of my torta n my wife's burrito couldn't have been more dry and bland... save your money that you work hard for and find a real Mexican restaurant there were 4 others in that same block and a half we just picked the wrong one. We eat Mexican food 4 to 5 times a month this is by far the absolutely worst. Very...

So my fiancée and I wanted tacos for our last lunch In Nashville….we searched high and low and found this hidden gem outside of downtown Memphis, about a 15 minute drive. When I tell you these are the best quesabirria tacos I have had! You don’t even need the dipping juice they are so darn good! The establishment is small and tucked away in a quiet corner so be sure to keep an eye out. The host welcomed us, the place is clean and the food was excellent!
