I've never had to write a review before, but I felt it was necessary after this week. I was in line waiting to pay for my groceries, as one does--it was busy, which isn't a problem and not anything new for Aldi. As I'm waiting in line, I am absolutely SHOCKED when I hear the cashier in my line being BERATED by another employee. I find out, she is one of the managers on duty!!! She had brown hair and looked about middle aged. I felt so horrible for the kid, and other customers in line looked uncomfortable and upset from the scene that was displayed. Aldi is often busy, but she seemed infuriated at him as if the line was long due to his wrongdoings, rather than it just being busy. HE WAS ALSO THE ONLY CAHSIER!! If she was so worried about the long line, she should have opened another register or started scanning herself. It's just never okay to yell at employees and berate them like that, especially in front of so many customers! As a manager, you tell them in private or lower your voice if you need to correct them on something, NOT YELL and BERATE the person. I felt so horrible and uncomfortable. Once it was my turn in line, I apologized for him as he was scanning my items. He seemed very distressed from the encounter, and this is NOT the first time I've witnessed this lady acting this way. Only writing this review now though, since finding out she is a literal MANAGER. Higher up management needs to do something about this. Nobody wants to witness a scene like this when trying to just run errands, and this has happened more than once from just ME SEEING IT. Can't imagine how much this happens every other day in the week. Working here would seem like a nightmare under this lady. No name tag so didn't get her name, and was honestly too...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place was busy with customers hustling through the aisles and employees stocking shelves. One moment I saw about 4 cartons of eggs remaining and within 1 minute the refrigerator was packed. Cages with cardboard boxes were conveniently available for folks to pack up groceries. Although I did manage to bring a canvas bag with me the box was helpful. (I was not paying for a bag.) There were enough checkout lines open to keep the customers moving and avoid blocking aisles. The cashier was also helpful by lifting a case of water and swiping a checkcard for a senior before me. Grocery shopping is one of my least favorite things to do in life. When I go, I tend to usually get mostly the same items so; when going to Aldi I appreciate the similar layouts, familiar aisles, competitive pricing, and produce options. The quarter carts keep the carts on the premises and I don't mind bringing my own bags...I have plenty under the sink š. The customer service is a plusš. I recommend Aldi on Nolensville Pike, even...
Ā Ā Ā Read morewent into this location like we do every Saturday, and the cashier was extremely rude to my son and myself. My son accidentally pressed a cash back button and when I asked if she could cancel the transaction before it went through she told me that i āshould control my childā ( mind you hes two and wants to help) When I asked to speak to someone else, she stated she was the manager and that she was āsimply finished speaking to meā and went to another cash register to talk to a coworker. She kept cutting me off when i would speak, and during check out when my son was saying hello and asked for a sticker (like he does at every store) she said to him ādo i look like i have time for stickers? we dont have those) We have been going to this Aldi for a year, and I dont think we will be returning after this. I wasnt mad about the cashback, I just wanted to inquire about it being fixed; and was immediately treated very poorly and she was just downright...
