Envision your favorite go-to Chinese takeout. That’s what you’ll find at Dream Wok. It’s the only place I order from and the best traditional American Chinese restaurant I’ve found in Nashville. Sweet and sour chicken is one of my favorites, and they do it right. The portions are generous, the chicken is fresh, and it’s always fried in clean oil. I’ve also ordered the beef pepper steak—one of the best I’ve ever had. The sides, like wonton soup and fried rice, are excellent too. The service is always friendly and fast. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes. If you like Chinese takeout, you really can’t do better.

We ordered from Dream Wok for the first time tonight and it was a wonderful experience!! The restaurant was very clean and had a good atmosphere! The lady running the register welcomed us and was very happy -- smiled the whole time and was sweet and friendly!! When we got our order home it was still hot and everything we ordered was so flavorful and delicious -- I loved the ma la chicken and my husband and daughter both said best crab ragoons they have had since we moved to Tennessee (we moved from NY 5 years ago)!! We order Chinese food often and my family is slightly picky about Chinese food because we all love it!! Dream wok is our new favorite and we will be ordering again and again very soon!! I worked earlier in Chinese restaurants for 10 years so I can tell great food by it's aroma coming in the door. Dream wok is one of those places! Hot and Sour soup is one standard I use to judge the rest of the menu, and their soup is excellent. Everything I have ordered has been great. I don't know about the deep fried stuff because I never order that but the stir fry has always been seasoned well and not greasy. So glad I finally noticed this little hole in the wall restaurant next to the Piggly Wiggly. It's right around the corner from my church so I usually pick up some on the way home on Sunday.
