"If it were possible to give less than one star, I would"; is somewhat of a cliche as of late. However, it certainly applies here. This place deserves a NEGATIVE score.
I have had the displeasure of dining at this location of Hardee's for a few years now. I want to emphasize "This Location". Most if not all of the Hardee's in Middle Tennessee are very good. I live less than 5 minutes from the Old Hickory store, so unfortunately it's usually the one I have chosen in the past.
A few months ago I got fed up with them, and since I have sworn off of Hardee's all together. I have literally eaten at Hardee's as long as I can remember... No more!
The burgers are almost always burnt. I assume because they have the broiler turned up way too high in order to cook the burgers faster. It's either that, or they are reheating burgers using said broiler.
They act like you are trying to break their fingers if you want to change the toppings on a burger. I don't know if maybe they don't know how to use the computer system, or maybe it's too complicated, I don't know. I just know that pleasant requests such as "No Tomato", or "No Ketchup" are almost always not fulfilled. Seeing as how I'm allergic to Citric Acid, and Tomatoes and ketchup naturally contain it; this is a big problem for me.
I have also had them give me someone else's food at least 2 or 3 different times in their drive through. It's ridiculous. You have to go through your order before you leave or you will be burned.
Complaining to the Area Manager will get you NO WHERE. He is as incompetent as his subordinates. On 2 separate occasions I contacted them and his response was. "Well, I just don't know why they can't seem to get it together...". How about fixing the problems. Spend some time there to change the culture. Just a thought.
Again, don't waste your time. McDonalds is right down the street and believe it or not. It's a better option. I know that sounds crazy, right?...

Submitted contact us twice on app and in website- no response yet. Called store twice today to see if I can get my order. Angela stating she is Mgr says no. Stated I need to reorder and pay again plus get refund from corporate. Yet not my fault they closed the store and didn't stop my order from processing or at least turn offline. She spoke rudely when I explained I just wanted to come get my order. Saying only her GM can look up past orders. I asked to have GM call me and she said they won't do that. Complete incompetence and poor service to screw over a good, regular, mobile app user customer in my opinion. No empathy or compassion for their mistake and my effort.
