Mazatlan Grill — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mazatlan Grill in Joelton, Tennessee, and it exceeded my expectations. When I walked in, Miguel greeted my family and me with warm hospitality and showed us our table. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a cozy atmosphere.

The menu offered a variety of Mexican dishes, and I opted for the Jalisco Nachos with Shrimp and Steak, freshly made tortillas, and an ample serving of queso. The portions were generous, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation. I also enjoyed their freshly made salsas and a particular serving of their green sauce with freshly chopped cilantro. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced.

The service was outstanding, with Miguel checking on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive.

Overall, I definitely recommend the Mazatlan Grill to anyone in Joelton, Tennessee looking for a fantastic and authentic Mexican eating experience. For visitors passing through the area, the restaurant is also conveniently located near Exit 35 on I-24. The food, service, prices and atmosphere were all top-notch, and I look forward to returning soon.

5 STAR RESTAURANT We are from chicago,we were heading home from florida, and i found this place on google maps....when i saw 4.5 stars in review ratings i said to my wife,we have to try it., we have mexican restaurants are on every other corner so i know how good mexican food should taste like.When we get inside, we were like wow....nice and clean.Food was just great,very fresh, tasty....meat- great quality.Burrito tortilla looks like it is home made...never ate something like that, also they style how it was set on the plate was great. We also tried tacos (fresh meat)with rice and beans....(heaven in mouth) Tortilla chips were served warm, and that real coke, imported from mexico...totally different and better taste. Clean restroom - very important but rarely seen in restaurants. Service was very good, looks like all guys there knows what they doing and are very proffessional. KEEP...

Ordered dinner for myself and my daughter, it came to almost $50. It was the worst meal I have ever had at this place. We both had the chimichanga plates, I ordered extra queso on these plates. By no means did they skimp on the queso, they probably put an extra cup of the cheese onto my food! I'm not exaggerating! It was cold and just way too much. We also ordered each of us a tamale à la carte. They were dried out and covered in some weird meat sauce like minced meat it was really weird. And finally, I ordered each of us and order of the churros, they were old and gummy. They were even hard to eat! They were not freshly made that day and if I'm guessing right they were freshly made about 5 days ago. It was so disappointing because you get your hopes up on things that you want and when you get them they're not what you were expecting at all. Go back to the way you used...
