No 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

When I order cheap Chinese, I’m not expecting upscale food by no means, but this food was inedible. I got the Mongolian beef, it was visibly burned, and the entire dish was overwhelmed by the burned/scorched flavor. It was also not Mongolian beef. It was tough pieces of beef and onions (mostly onions) swimming in juice that was full of little burned pieces. Usually, Mongolian beef has a sauce or a glaze. This was straight up burned, black liquid. Shame on this restaurant for even letting this leave the kitchen.

My son got the lobster fried rice, and there was zero lobster in it. It had circles of imitation crab meat and what looked like canned shrimp that had been pulverized. If he had ordered seafood fried rice, this would be acceptable, but he was excited to get LOBSTER fried. It wasn’t even fried rice. It was yellow rice that had no evidence of being fried and no flavor.

I've came here multiple times and the first 3 times they were great. These last few times they have messed up my order every time, one time they even argued with me about MY order in which I know what I told them. Today I was over charged on my card in which they did fix. But my food had onions which I clearly tell them everytime I go that I don't want onions. Eggroll was undercooked, and my bourbon chicken had crunchy stuff all through it, seems like whatever was left in the grease. Don't waste your time or money. All of these mishaps...

I loved getting food from here. It was exactly what I was craving and checked every box for me. Sweet and Sour Chicken- This was great. I was surprised that they put the sweet and sour separate but ended up loving it. Egg Drop Soup- I love this soup. Its hard to mess up and theirs definitely was not. It was delicious. Sesame Chicken- This was so good too. The lo mein was amazing and same with the broccoli.
