I've been on a quest to find the best pizza in Nashville. My thinking is that if they can make a BOMB cheese pizza then they have good pizza.
Walking in you're met with 4 tables and chairs, cute Italian italics on the walls, a random BBQ sign (they don't really have actual BBQ, just sauce), 4 TVs (2 for the menu, 1 had a random movie on, and the last 1 had news channel in a language I couldn't read. Hanging from the ceiling was empty fly traps and a bug zapper.
Behind the counter was presumably the owner and operator. He was pleasant and took my order. He wasn't wearing a mask. However he did have a plexy glass separating us, so if that's a big deal then discretion advised.
When the pizza was done he walked around the counter, showed me the pizza, and asked how it looked, and if I was a first time customer. I was and the pizza looked really good. It looked like a cheese pizza so I was happy.
The pizza itself was 18" round for $15.99 which is by far the best for your buck I've found yet for cheese pizza. The first slice was big and floppy. It was well cooked, but it had no crunch or crisp. It had a generous amount cheese and the sauce had a slight sweet taste despite there just not being enough of it. The undercarriage was covered cornmeal. I couldn't eat the pizza without my hands becoming covered in the stuff.
Overall I'm giving you 3 stars for the pizza and an additional star for customer service and attentiveness. 4 stars is still a damn good score. I don't typically pass 5...

Spoke to someone over the phone regarding making an order for 2 large 1 topping pizzas and bread sticks. Delivery driver came to my house with one pizza, two toppings and "bread sticks". We literally had a small conversation in English. He insisted on trying to put his pizza bag on the hood of my car!
I told him don't set the bag on my hood. Then I asked where the 2nd pizza is? All the sudden he didn't speak English and walked away. Called up there again to go over my concerns with who took my order.
He didn't care and told me I was wrong. The "cheese sticks" are little bread chunks with melted cheese. I expressed from the order taken wrong, to his employee insisting on putting the bag on the hood of my car to cheese "sticks" being nothing like normal bread sticks. Terrible experience, call Marco's Pizza and just get the Pepperoni...
Read moreFor the last 2 years I have been ordering pizza from here. It's a great price and great authentic pizza. Today I experienced a disappointment that could have determined if I would ever be a customer again. I ordered a pizza and put specific that the sauce I wanted was basil pesto. I had multiple pizza and wings on my order. Due to my allergy unlike my family im allergic to traditional pizza red sauce so I have to order white sauce. When the pizza arrived it was red sauce. I called and addressed my concerns which got heated I asked to speak with the manager and the guy stated he was the owner. I then proceeded to give him my POV and explained to him where I was coming from $65+ dollars I ordered my pizza correct I expected what I ordered. And had proof this was a online door dash order. The owner finally agreed to make me a fresh pizza with the basil pesto as I ordered. When the pizza was delivered it was the owner. He drove to my house and hand delivered me the pizza and apologizef again. I was highly impressed and grateful. We need more young men and entrepreneurs with that service level. Thanks again.
