Waffle House — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Day crew seems ok but wouldn't recommend late hours. 2 stars cause, well, TATERS! All I remember from the 1st "after midnight" trip was the waitress sitting at the end of the counter, nodding off, sleeping with her head down on the counter. Thought maybe she was tired and needed a nap but a couple attempts were made to wake the employee and she didn't budge. Can't say if it was drugs or an over worked employee but.......... The last time I was there, a friend told me to ask for the full menu. I had no idea they had a full menu but sure enough, they do. The girl working refused to let me see it, though. So, I ordered a coke and a slice of country ham. Upon getting my tab, I was charged over $9 for the ham. I asked the waitress and she said it was a different price when ordering by itself. As I looked at the menu they provide to customers, she proceeds to pull out the "full menu" (that she just refused to let me see) and read off a price. I've ordered this before and that was a 1st for me. She didn't care that it wasn't stated on the menu provided and I'm not really sure it was on the menu she refused to let me see. I paid, left, and won't be back unless I'm very desperate, tired, or short on gas. After all, they have different employees every time I've been, day or night. Worth a Google search to the next nearest location. The Murfreesboro Rd location is rumored to be one of the best on this side of...

My mother & I arrived at noon to eat. All empty seats still had dirty dishes on the table. A waitress told us she would clean a booth. She partially cleaned it. My 82 year old mother needed to sit down so we went ahead & sat down. The waitress started to place our silverware on the table. We told her the table still needed to be wiped off. She said she assumed we were okay with the table not being cleaned since we sat down. She brushed the table off in a way crumbs went all over my mother & once again brought silverware. We both said the table still wasn't clean. There were still crumbs & syrup making the table sticky. The waitress (Hannah) said she wasn't going to wait on us & that we could leave. The manager made no effort to speak to us much less offer an apology for this sorry incompetent waitress. She did tell the waitress she could go out & take a break. My mother & I will never go back to this location unless it is confirmed that there are staff changes. There is no option to give no stars which should be the case...

Ubered to location approx. 530am 2 days ago. I bought a waffle w/p.b. & choc. chips, and a texas toast egg/bacon sandwich, & a orange juice. There is only myself & 1 lady in dining. My order is " Togo " she charges me $15.78 ( just under $16.) For i thought it all. But i guess it was for 1- juice $2.75 & sandwich plate $9.40.. so i thought taxes was high. Then a couple mins later its oh i forgot to charge for waffle. Then i get charged waffle $4.50 +taxes came to $7.50 so for my entire meal which cost approx $16.50 w/tax ended up being $23.00 i think that is a big tax. Then i leave and i start to eat sandwich. Halfway through my stomach starts to HURT bad. On my right side just below my waistline. Ive been laid up in bed with severre pain continuously for 2 days since getting food i paid way to much for. Im fixing to go to the hospital tonight. Something is wrong and i will never go there or any waffle house ever again. Be careful if you go to this...
