I went in to do a fax but unsuccessfully. I was told by a young woman librarian where to go to do my fax. In need of help, I said I don't know how to to use the machine 📠. The woman in a short snappy way said that there is instructions on the phone that will help me. I'm on the phone trying to get help from customer service for about 8-10 minutes. Then I thought a man who look to be a veteran librarian could help me. He asks me if I have an iPhone and I told him no I have an Android. He suggested to me to download apps for free on line to fax on my Android. I didn't come there for a workshop lecture about how to fax things. I came to the library because I needed help with a fax. Read moreI love this library!!! I go all the time to check out books or once in awhile for the crochet club. If you can't find your book on-site at this library, know that the Nashville library system has a service where you can pick up a book from any Library branch at your local branch. It only takes a couple days for your book to be available.
The librarians here always very cheerful and and one of them taught me about a feature on my iPhone that has been super helpful for scanning documents. I'm so grateful to have this fantastic library...
Read moreI do like this library because it is small and close by. However, when did it become acceptable to have conversations not in a whisper. A gentlemen came in and began talking to a worker behind the desk. In a normal conversational tone. I know all about his churches fundraising woes, about St. Cecilia etc. I came here for peace and quiet that a library is supposed to have. They've conversed, laughed. Maybe it's just one more indication of where we are in society where there is no respect for others, rules...
