Carroll's Giant Burger — Restaurant in Navasota

Absolutely horrible service! The little girl that was working on the counter, who is probably still in high school was very disrespectful and only to myself, my mother! My mother is a senior citizen! So I take issue when people catch an attitude with her for no apparent reason, other than they simply don’t want to be at their job! If doesn’t want to be at work. They don’t go to work but at the same time even if you have to work, don’t go to work and don’t take it out on your customers! After all, I think y’all forget, your customers are actually the ones that pay your paycheck and pay the owner of that establishment the money to keep it going! Without the customers there wouldn’t be a car burger! Not only were they rude, but when I got my hamburger, it was cold, so were the fries! I don’t know what’s happened to that restaurant over the last few years, but it is completely gone downhill, and I absolutely refuse to go back. I live all the way in College Station and for me to travel that far for something that used to be good and expecting the same service I guess I was very sadly mistaken! Apparently neither the owner who my mom spoke to about this ladies nor him himself care very much about their customers! It’s just a matter of time before this dump causes a patron to contact a serious illness!! The drive thru window is the first indication there are issues with this below health standards food server! All the areas around the window and ground look like they’ve NEVER been cleaned. Makes one wonder what’s going on behind the very dirty facade?? After having several discussions over the years with the employees....not one attempt has the owner made to take action regarding this very serious issue.

I will never go back here again unless there are changes made. Hope more people will see that this is a potential health hazard and ask that the City of Navasota will take more responsibility for handling...

Food good, staff pleasant. I especially liked that fried okra is offered as a side in addition to fries and onion rings. And the fried okra was EXCELLENT. But after being in business for 57 years, couldn't you expand to have more room and some actual tables and chairs? Seating is uncomfortable and too many people in one little room. Being cramped was my only complaint. Take-out would solve that problem but I was in Navasota from out of town so nowhere else to go. All said, you can't beat the price, the food was good, and the service fast...
