The produce is in decent shape. The selection is limited, but the quality is better than I find at HEB. Frozen foods are a bit pricey. This includes everything from vegetables to pizza to those little Banquet meal trays that are usually 88 cents or so at other stores that are roughly $1.30 at Brookshire Brothers. (Truthfully, no one should be eating those anyway. I merely placed that in there as a price gauge.) The fryer hens in the clear bags in the meat section are decent, but be prepared to remove the (full) oil gland on your own. I am unsure why, but every fryer I have gotten here has the oil gland right there at the tail, plump and full of goo. Maybe that's commonplace now, but when my grandfather was a butcher, those were removed and the tail was washed to prevent bitterness. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, the store is clean, parking is always available, and the store smells decent, unlike other stores that have that stale air quality. The app is very disappointing. Especially when attempting to "clip" a digital coupon. The whole experience is confusing because the app is not very user-friendly.

The cashier and I tried three times to claim the digital coupon, and it would not redeem, and the cashier was unable to simply do an override and manually credit me a $1.00 discount.

Here's the most frustrating part: After spending 10 minutes in the cashier line, then an additional 5 minutes downloading the app and going back to the aisle to scan the coupon, only to spend an additional 10 minutes with the cashier and ma ager to get it to function correctly only to discover that after 30 minutes it wouldn't accept the coupon AND the cashier and ma ager were not able to manually credit the...

I am so thankful that that terrible sign that threatened the fine of $250 for NOT wearing a mask is gone! I have had COVID, gotten over COVID and not afraid of COVID. I am afraid of the vaccine. (Not enough testing done yet.) Now I can freely shop! It's wonderful! The cashiers are very friendly. I love shopping here for groceries. I only wish that Walmart would adopt your attitude about masks! (They still demand their customers to be gagged, I mean masked!) I love that I can find Almond milk AND Planet Oat Oatmilk!
