Little Ted's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Nebraska City

Wonderful bar and grill. Having been a member of the Nebraska City 2/134th Infantry back in the Roman Empire days, I know one of the owners quite well. He's a good hearted guy who, along with his son, have turned this establishment into a quaint pub environment with an excellent array of food. The waitresses are very friendly and always on the mark, refilling your drinks and making sure you have everything you need. An expansive array of TV's will make sure you always have an opportunity to watch Nebraska football, or whatever else is on during the year, as though that matters after football season. There were some great looking women there too, and even some good looking guys, although I'm not into that. No, seriously, I am NOT into guys, not that there is anything wrong with that. If you are looking for a nice down to earth place to have a drink, and don't care for the "ears blown off danceclub" type of place, then Ted's is where you need to go. You...

First time going to Little Ted's. I had a decent experience! Monday night, so maybe that plays into it... Taco night and I can't resist a taco. I got three of the fried shell tacos and they were very good. Lots of meat and a good helping of shredded cheese. All to often at other establishments it is the opposite and I leave disappointed. The beer is cold and decently priced, and the tacos were about $2 each. Service was almost perfect, especially for a smaller town small bar setting. The regulars were greeted with copious amounts of friendliness. Overall great experience, and I guarantee I will be back at least next Monday...

Delicious sweet potato waffle fries!!!! We were visiting Nebraska City. Not dressed for the fancier places, looking for BBQ. We were told there was a good place there. We went to 3 different places--all closed. In fact, it looked like the pandemic has hit Neb City's economy hard. A lot of businesses closed. On the internet, Teds advertised as BBQ but nowhere on the menu. Im assuming change of ownership? My husband, the cavernous pit, had the philly and fries and walked away stuffed.
