The entire working staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. We knew we were going to be going through the area, so we looked up places to stop and eat. I made the choice based on the 5 star rating and birthday cake French toast with icing. We pulled up to a very historical building, kept up very well. It was once a train depot, inside they have cool decor to match the significance of the building's past. It is a seat yourself, at least on Sunday. Lots of families, big and small. Our server was top notch, I am ashamed that I didn't get her name. Another server, who actually noticed that I was eating the birthday cake French toast, and mentioned it was due to her pregnancy cravings that she had it put on the menu. We laughed because it's delicious and a great idea for a morning sweet tooth. A little later, a very-very-very-very-long train came by the side of the windows (literally, the longest train I've ever seen. Thank goodness it was while relaxing and eating and not at a major traffic stop.) it was so close you could make out small details in the engine cars. All of the kids enjoyed this, restaurant wide. The server whose cravings brightened my day was walking by and mentioned that the baby responsible for the idea was right there and pointed at a perfect cutie patootie a table over. Not to mention, she is expecting this summer. What an awesome environment for a family to come and enjoy. You can tell the staff has a close relationship with their community and delivers service to strangers as if they are already part of it. I will be sure to recommend Gram's Place...

Then the waitress that took my order came over so I could pay. Nothing was mentioned about the piece of plastic. I paid the bill then Told her a small piece of plastic was in my potatoes. She said she was sorry about that and hopefully that wouldn’t happen the next...
