Very poor service and rude employee. After getting food, I asked for a courtesy cup of water, something I often get at Subways. The employee told me they don't give water to customers. I asked if he would rather lose a local customer than give me a cup of water. He said he doesn't care about losing a customer. He has lost a customer.
UPDATE: I year later, I decided to give them a second shot. Again, after paying for food for two, I asked for a courtesy cup of water. Again the cashier refused, and said that cups cost $0.50. So I told him I'd like to return my food, and asked for a refund. This too, he refused. As we disagreed, ANOTHER customer came into the store, complaining that they left out half of her order. She wanted a refund, and this cashier (who is probably the owner) refused. He picked up the phone and threatened to call the police. Apparently, he considers unhappy customers to be a crime.
NEVER AGAIN - I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU AVOID THIS...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable experience. The manager (or possibly the owner—he refused to identify himself or provide the name of the actual owner) treated me with clear disrespect, and I believe it was racially motivated. As soon as he heard me speaking my native language, his behavior changed completely.
He refused to add vegetables to my sandwich—even though I paid for a regular sub—and insisted I had to purchase a full meal just to place an order. He tried to charge me before I had even made my full selection and then told me to leave, claiming it was “too busy.” There was no one else in line and the store was nearly empty.
I buy Subway almost every day across the East Coast, and I’ve never encountered anything like this. This specific location should not be allowed to operate under the Subway name. I will be filing an official complaint with...
Read moreAsk the store worker not to toast the bread with the tuna fish to add it after. He said they can’t do that…. Then the manger steps in after I said I’m alright and don’t want to buy anything and said that it’s a new employee and he doesn’t speak English and in America English isn’t needed because many customers come in and can order without speaking English.
A) I feel the point B) that was extremely racist to assume that I had a problem with him not speaking English. I have a problem with not wanting to get sick because I know my body. C) I’m a first generation American and my father barely speaks English 3/4 of my life.
The manger was extremely rude and unprofessional.
Worst review I’ve given all year and I’ve been to over a thousand restaurants...
