My husband found this place on Instagram and was intrigued by the pizza challenge. The challenge is eat a double XL pizza that you eat by yourself in about a half hour and you get the bragging rights and a free T-shirt. L O L! Both my husband and my son are pizza connoisseurs so we drove up from Philadelphia to check it out. The drive wasn’t so bad and we got there a little after five. There was a nice diverse crowd. We got seated right away and everybody working was very pleasant and welcoming. All of the servers were really hustling, and we noted that the menu stated that all the food is made to order so basically be patient. We were pleasantly surprised when our appetizers came out way faster than we imagined and the rest of our food soon followed. My daughter ordered pasta à la vodka, I ordered buffalo wings, my husband and son, of course ordered pizza, and we got cheesy garlic bread and french fries for the table. My daughter really enjoyed her pasta very much. She took half of it home with her… It was a very generous portion. My husband and son truly enjoyed the pizza very much. They were even fighting over the last piece! Good naturedly, of course! 🤪 the apps were good, especially the french fries. My wings were extremely meaty. My only critique for the wings is that it appeared that they are cooked plain, and then the sauce is added afterward. I would just suggest that instead of the chicken being made plain, that some sort of seasoning was put on the chicken, like salt, pepper, and a little bit of garlic, And maybe after they were tossed in the sauce, maybe thrown under the broiler a little bit so the skin was crispier. It would elevate the wings to another level. I will say I could only eat half and I took the rest home. They reheated quite nicely in my air fryer the next day. We really enjoyed everything a lot and our waitress was super. The next time we visit my husband and son want to do the pizza challenge. We don’t live close, but we are looking for reasons to be back in your area so we can...
Read moreExtremely saddened by the experience I had the other day as I took my close friend who was visiting, to our favorite place for lunch. Everything started out fine, as we were greeted by our extremely sweet waitress who brought us our drinks. For some unknown reason, she was switched and we were then served by a young girl named Tiana. A party of 15 people was placed next to us during this time being extremely loud causing us to be unable to hear ourselves as we tried to catch up and have a conversation. We kindly asked Tiana if it would be possible to be placed elsewhere as the restaurant was very empty and other seating appeared to be an available option. Her response to our request left my friend and I baffled as she rolled her eyes and gave us an attitude stating "Well I don't know what you want me to do about it". After this comment, she stormed off in frustration. The manager came over to us and in a very unprofessional manner, stated "I don't understand what the problem is here". He made it known that he was extremely aggravated by us and abruptly left our table without saying a word. What we thought was a seemingly simple request turned into a very upsetting experience. We ended up leaving and on the way out our waitress Tiana made a comment to me personally stating "I worked all day for this?" as she flipped the bill in front of us saying how rude we were. We left in disbelief of the experience and decided to call the following day to speak to someone higher up. Whoever we spoke to completely disregarded our concerns so we asked if it would be possible to speak to the owner. After leaving our name and phone number we have yet to hear from them. After being a customer for 10+ years I don't think I'll be returning with family or friends in the future. We simply asked a question and never expected to encounter such animosity from the staff. We were willing to stay put where we were but thought it wouldn't be a big deal to just ask so that it might be possible to sit somewhere we could hear each other...
Read moreMyself and my family have been here for a handful of times our most recent visit was yesterday after we went apple picking into one of the local playground at the restaurant overall the food is good and consistent our service was absolutely phenomenal she wasn’t means and waitress I’m sorry I forgot her name but she was on point and on top of everything never had an empty glass on the table always was taken away dirty plates bringing clean plates back extremely attentive to the table so good job to our waitress... So the reason for the three star review versus a five star review basically I found the food just good to really good nothing spectacular about it the pizzas paper thin but it’s still a pretty decent pie I find that their sauce is very good the appetizers we ordered wings and the garlic bread again very good nothing over-the-top best way to describe the food would be your average dive bar type of food. Other issues that I do have with the restaurant is even before you walk in their signage all over the place can’t be seated until everybody in your parties there on things like that kind of just turn you off even before you walk into the restaurant you feel like you’ve already done something wrong before you even get into the restaurant... next most restaurants offer free Feels on your basic drinks like soda and ice tea were here they nickel and dime you on every single drink you get even if you order extra sides like ranch dressing versus having blue cheese on your wings again you’re getting nickel and dime on every single thing. We’re all I would recommend for you to try the restaurant yourself we had definitely good service and there...
