Customer for over 10+ years ordering 2-3 times a week because of Santions prompt and courteous service. There are many Authentic pizzerias this is not one but being a creatire of habbit use competitor when I want AUTHENTIC Italian not freah frozen. When I pick up they are always friendly especially during this time of uncertainty. I tip drivers very well as token of appreciation since they have always shown great customer service.
Today something went horribly wrong with our usual Wednesday Pick Up Special. I suddenly encountered a driver that wasn't even supposed to be here. My husband left to get order 5 minutes prior and that's when I was startled by a heavy handed obnoxious banging. Cautiously opened door to an unexpected person a burley man standing there with the nastiest demeanor I've ever encountered from a delivery. I tried to convay EVERY Wednesday we pick up their special so there's a mix up on their end. Driver became livid and began yelling at me to call spouse to have him pay in person since he has other deliveries. Still in disbelief that this man is speaking to me in this manner I proceeded to call Janelle to explain what's currently happening at my door. She did apologize for his attitude for having a "bad day" but that doesn't justify his disrespectful actions towards me as a woman and secondly as a loyal cuatomer. To avoid further conflict I sent husband on to make payment since I had no cash on hand. Once Janelle recognized spouse and confirmed payment. I was able to keep him away from this driver that is disrespecting his wife back at his home which could of sparked an even bigger issue. In confusion I failed to get drivers name but very sure I do not feel comfortable nor safe ordering again alone due to this episode of aggression and unprofessional behavior. This was 530 p.m and it is 4:50 a.m and I am still awake bothered by this encounter. Janelle thank you for trying to diffuse episode. Now August, no inquiry from owner on this occurance. Ladies beware!

Giuseppe is one of a kind, good, whole hearted Sicilian man, kind mannerisms, his wife is a sweetheart/ realist, but to run a business in this day in age, you need that! I am one of the few people that can say that I've known Giuseppe before he bought santino's, I knew him I worked with him, I was around him all day everyday, for years, when he disappeared I missed him a lot, and then I found out he bought the place that I worked at forever! That's when I decided, I am staying Santino's all the way! I love the food here, the staff are friendly, shay, is one of a kind, always giving a show and will make sure you smile before you leave! Or if he's at your door 😆 love him. ❤️ love you guys. I see some reviews and I can tell when people are not being honest, I can tell when they say the owners said certain things, that are not true, I know firsthand, I've been Santino's my whole life, and I'll straight up say I'm so happy it's in the hands of Giuseppe & Nina And not of some fraudulent people that the last pethei8smind is the customers, he loves his customers, it's not the same economy we lived in over 10 years ago! Everything is expensive now, no matter where you go, and you would be surprised there are a lot more expensive places out there, but Santino's has a mark on the land where it's at! Read moreWe've ordered from this place for years, and lately the food is completely hit or miss. The pizza is always good, but things like the chicken tenders and fries, subs etc - feels like every day there is a different chef or they're getting it from a different supplier! Sometimes it's great other times awful! Zero consistency aside from the pizza.
Not to mention that the last food we got, was in a STYROFOAM container (BANNED SINCE MAY 4th 2022 IN NJ, ordered 11/17/2022) and the styrofoam was completely melted into the food! They couldn't even be bothered to throw a piece of aluminum foil under the food. Way to show how much you care about your customers - especially ones who supported your business through the pandemic and have spent probably thousands at your business.
