Went out to eat with the family. Our First and last time in this restaurant. The experience we got was terrible. And it’s not like I’m writing up here just to be mean. I tried to talk to the manger which did NOTHING, besides telling me that I’m a first person even complaining :))))) (funny) plus then giving my husband a crazy attitude but will get there. We were 3 adults and 2 kids over 13. We always order few dishes to start and then ordering more. Here we just wanted to leave. Yes the place looks nice but that would be it. I ordered passion fruit martini. Sent it right back. Didn’t taste like nothing but alkohol and water. Instead of redoing it waitress brought me lemon juice anf simple stropu so I can fix my drink. ;) ofc I tried while she was next to me to fix it myself but it didn’t work at all. I sent it back. Then we had cold fries which went right back to the kitchen as well. After redoing it they were good. We ordered 2 pizzas. Hmmm. 1. I ordered it more well done so it’s crispy. Neither one was. „White pie” taste nothing but Mozzarella. Pizza with goat cheese at least had some taste. Caccio peppe pasta… our favorite dish, Completely NO taste. Sauce wasn’t staying on the pasta, was super watery like milk. Sent it back. Now the steak. We took 24oz Rib Eye. Yes the meat was a good quality meat that’s why it’s even more sad that it was „killed by the chef.” Tastes suuuuuuper bitter. We got on the plate, charcoaled, black, burned steak. I always give a chance. I asked for the manager. I told her nicely, very calmly ans respectfully about our experience. After informing me that we are THE FIRST ppl ever complaining I was like really.!?!?? I checked the comments and clearly not. But the only answer ppl get here for less positive comments is „go eat elsewhere” The manager informed me that she will take off the bill the drink and pasta (I mean I sent it back soooo makes more then sense to take it off) but then she supposed to „look over our bill to make sure all is good. Nothing else was offered. No dessert as I’m sorry. No discount no nothing. Just added 20% on top for party of 5 ppl. When my husband started complaining that it’s very not ok she gave him CRAZY attitude. The waitress was very nice, can’t complain. Can’t recommend the place. We went there cause 3 other gooooood restaurants were full. I guess...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to visit this restaurant for a girls’ night out. The main attraction of this place was its ambiance. It had a visually appealing atmosphere. To start, we had a reservation created weeks ago for 6 people. One person got called into work so we let the server know we were just 5. She responded stating something along the lines of “okay I’ll remove this chair to give you space but just so you know if the front didn’t tell you, we have a party of 12 coming in at 8.” Insisting we have to be out. When she mentioned this, it was just about 630 and we didn’t get our drinks yet. We expressed our concern about the timing and offered to move to a smaller table, but she stated that was not possible, they were fully booked and that we had plenty of time, even though there was an hour and a half left. Anyways, we ordered a few appetizers to split. The Caesar salad was $22 and it was about 1/3 of a wedge that wouldn’t be enough for one person. We got two burratas and that was all it came with. No bread. When requesting bread she said they have it but not for the burrata. We also got tempura fried lobster and shrimp which had the best taste and decent amount for the price. For meals we got pizza and pasta dishes. Both pasta dishes were more than al dente, and the pizzas were good but I could go up the street and pay half the price. Lastly, we asked for a dessert menu but were told they didn’t have one so she would list them. We decided to go with the cheesecake and cinnamon buns. We had to send the buns back as they were extremely dry and the server took it off the bill. Lastly, it got to about 745 and server and bussers made it clear they wanted us out of there for the next guests. We spent $500, I think finishing up our drinks for 10 minutes is a reasonable. They would send a busser out to take one thing off the table every few minutes and then the waitress came to pick up the bill a second time after we paid. The food wasn’t terrible, but it certainly wasn’t worth the hefty $500. Hopefully, they’ll address the pricing, food quality, and server...
Read moreKinda sucks to leave this review, but it’s been bugging me. I’ve read all the hype of this place. Supposed to be a cool vibe, and great food. We booked bar seats. When we got there the host basically said the bars open go grab some seats. Excited we went to the bar and picked out a spot. The bartender came over and took our drink order. 2 martinis and then we might as well have been ghosts. There were 3 bartenders. The one who got our first round was obviously on service bar as he was tied up all night shaking drinks. The other 2 bartenders were basically TRYING to not see us. To the point where I figured they had more talent in not seeing the obvious than talent in just saying “ I’ll be right with you”. The bartender went left, right left, right. Never looking up. Comments were made. Still subpar interaction. We ordered wine. It never came out. After the 3rd time asking for it, it was delivered. The food. Ehh. It was good. Not great. We asked about specials, and of course they had no clue what they were. At 8 pm on a Saturday. Cmon. The menu is an obvious copy of a competitor to the north. Overall our bill was over 500 bucks for 2 people and wasn’t worth it imo. The manager who dropped our food off was clueless and couldn’t pick up on a hint if it crashed into him. This place is so close to being great, but it’s mismanaged. Terrible lighting. Terrible service. I hope they find a good manager and make this place great, or it will fall inline with every other failed restaurant in that location. Again. Was hoping for a new cool spot to hit up frequently and this place fell short in so many ways. Sucks to leave this review as I wanted this place to be good, but it’s just not. Maybe not yet, maybe it used to be. Hopefully it gets better. We won’t be back, but I hope they...
