I just drove away from the NJ RT 33 & 35 location in tears. I have never had anyone treat me so foul. I am not a fight starter. I hate attention and making a scene. I ordered a 20 piece chicken mcnugget on the mobile app, chose drive-thru and place my order. Checked in at the speaker, the voice said ok pull first window. When I got the the young man at the window double checked my order I told him mobile/mcnuggets. He couldn't seem to find it and asked if I told whomever was on the other end of the speaker,I said yes. He walked away came back walked away again then came back and said something I couldn't hear, so I said pardon then a man came from around the corner and said. "Let me apologize to you, we didn't get our money, your credit card don't pay us, so we canceled your order, but we are apologizing to you" in the most sarcastic, fesicous tone of voice I have ever been spoken to in. I just tried to make sense of how things went so off from the speaker to the window, but he wouldn't even let me talk. Then started yelling for me to stop holding up the line. As if I was doing it on purpose. The kid never gave me the go ahead to advance to the next window there was clearly an issue with the order, I was just waiting until it was figured out. Instead I was yelled at. There is no reason on my end why the payment didn't go through. My account can well cover an order of mcnuggets. He immediately came at me very aggressive. Never once said we can place the order now, try your card, would you like to pay cash. Just treated my like absolute trash from the word go. I am a please/ thank you hold the door open and smile at strangers person. I have never in my life been through an altercation like this. That man on shift tonight should not be in a position of authority. He really shouldn't be dealing with the public in general. I am a business owner 16 year's now. He is toxic with zero managerial/ people skills. I can't imagine much will come of this complaint but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't say something to maybe prevent someone else from working all day and trying to stop for dinner on the way home and instead getting berated and belittled for what is probably a computer glitch. My account is viable. I have checked and even used it to pick up dinner elsewhere. Service is never stellar here but it's never left me so angry and upset...

   Read moreI have come to this establishment multiple times during the night to get dinner. Every now and then, something gets messed up but the managers were USUALLY okay about it. I have never once yelled or have been rude to an employee as I once worked at McDonald's myself, but tonight really changed my mind about coming here. I went through the drive thru and ordered a 20 piece, two medium fries, and a medium sprite. All the food was fine, but my issue came when the employee on first register made me pay extra for extra sauce I did not ask for. I asked her 3 separate times to please make sure the upcharge was not there, as I did not want extra sauce. I asked to speak to the manager about this, where they pulled me to the side and he came out and spoke to me in an extremely condescending tone. I told him I was charged for something I did not ask for, and he rose his voice at me while I was simply trying to explain. He then went "How much do I owe you" in a nasty tone and when I tried to tell him that's not what I cared about, he doubled down and asked again until I gave in.
