Sophie's Soft Serve — Restaurant in Neshannock Township

Sophie's Soft Serve has become one of my favorite ice cream places! They have a large menu of ice cream/deserts to choose from! They have so many unique flavors that there is something for everyone! The prices are fair, the portion sizes are good, and the ice creams taste good! I liked their funnel cake and s’mores specialty options! The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the caramel sauce as it was a little runny and taste more like butterscotch than caramel. I will definitely be coming here again, there are so many more ice creams of theirs that I would like to try!

I have been here several times and usually have very good ice cream. But today I ordered a pecan pie swirl. I was handed a pumpkin pie. I stated it’s supposed to be pecan. She was beyond rude telling me that’s not what I ordered. I apologize and stated it was supposed to be pecan. The darker haired girl was beyond rude told me I would have to pay the difference. I asked what the difference was and she stated the price for a whole new one. I asked why do I have to pay for a whole new one she stated because I ordered the wrong thing. Ordered a small chocolate covered strawberry milkshake and a small cookie dough swirl. Customer service is not a strong suit. Was charged 2$ more than what the price should’ve been and when asking questions about the menu the girl taking my order treated me like I was dumb for not knowing what something was even though it was my first time visiting. I had to repeat my question two times “what is a swirl” and the girl looked at me and didn’t respond the first time so I asked again and she didn’t change expression and said “a blizzard.” Reading other reviews I’m seeing that other people have had issues with the workers being unfriendly/unprofessional so this isn’t a new issue.
