The big girl at night and the short guy in the mornings were doing shift change when my man and I came in to buy cigarettes. They tell us it'll be a minute. The girl checks our ID's. We go to the snacks and immediately the guy looks up from what he's doing and tells us we need to gamble, which is a lie because any Dottys I've EVER went to they are for customers, the DRINKS are for the people gambling. Why else would the snacks be self serve? So ok since he's complaining we go sit at a machine, then he continues to bother us saying we need to show him our ID's, we say she already checked, relax. Then he starts to get very disrespectful and aggressive and tells us we need to leave, completely stopping his shift change just to "act hard" to my man talking about "he's not the one and come back at 4:30" I mean literally making a complete fool of himself so fine if he wants to make a scene cash us out. So now the girl chimes in saying "you have 180 days to cash it, come back on a different shift" no sorry we spend too much money here too be treated like that so cash us out if you want to leave so bad. They just refused to cash out and the guy continued to be rude and talking about "I'm off at 4:30." Looking at us all crazy and the girl is saying she's calling metro but never dialed any numbers on the phone, LOL. So we leave buy cigarettes at the corner store and I come back in alone and the guy is STILL talking crazy to ME. I mean he had to say he's off at 4:30 a THOUSAND times. Still refusing to cash me out but eventually does continuing to instigate the confrontation. I'm not gonna lie we said some things back to him but REGARDLESS he started it with his rude co-worker and we are the customers and he should not be talking to customers that way. Definitely calling corporate cause it seems like their manager is allowing this if they still have jobs, especially reading other reviews that people are complaining about the clerk's. They guy is literally threatening customers and when I finally left after getting into it with him as I'm walking away he tells me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI thought I'd try a Dottys, because they are all over Vegas, and pretty popular. It was Horrible. McLeod & Desert Inn, @ 2pm, 11-14-24. I mention the exact time, because I didn't get the guys name working here. With 100$ in a machine, a door opened sign came on, froze machine, the one worker there has no capability to fix machines.., really.., and he wouldn't give me the hundred so I could leave, instead, now I gotta wait up to 24 hours!, to get my money back?!? Because I asked a few questions and told him my opinion of how wrong I thought this was, he kept talking over me, like I was stupid or in kindergarten, then he points to a tiny little sign that's on all the machines, that says..malfunctions void..something, as if to say, they don't really have to give me my money. I waited an hour, outside, cuz now I'm afraid of the worker, no slot tech yet, no call. If that was my only money, I'd be screwed. How can I be sure the worker even called for assistance?, no receipt , just wait for a call?!? I have no reason to ever put myself through this again, and I hope I'm saving someone else from having to go through this also. Just the fact that there are people just hanging around outside, there's a guy sleeping in his car, parked next to me, and it's the middle of the day and you still gotta get buzzed in the door, should've told me something, but then, only 1 angry person , who can't act professional, running the joint, forget it..., never again. I will post within the next 24 hours, whether or not I've gotten the 100$ they kept in their broken machine. ( update- I got the call 8am the next...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is guy that works cashier here that has some issues. Hey acts outside of his job description and directs customers about thier movements inside the establishment. As I approached the enterence noticed the employee leaning on the door from the inside. He pushed open the doors stuck his head out and looked around as if he was "looking out" for someone. Strange and a little unnerving. As I entered he stick his arm out blocking my path and told me to take a seat. I looked at him and responded by sticking his head out the door looking wildly from side to side. Without any eye contact he said have a seat. I did. I scanned the interior and observed patrons playing games and talking. Normal stuff. So I asked him if he could get me some cigarettes. He said no, just wait. I then observed a cash text empting the machines. Like many many times before. (I've been going to Dotty's 16 since it opened. Also visiting other locations for years before that). Seemed unusual that he was focused only on the front door and me. So I asked him if this was a new policy of Dotty's. Could I wait for him to finish whatever he was doing at a machine? He said no just sit there. No explanation . I sat patiently. For about a min. Asked him if he could get me cigarettes. He said no and then in a loud voice told me to leave and that I needn't ever come back. I got up exchanged a few words and split. I forgot this guy's name, but might be Nepoleon, ( a five foot tall " Italian" sounding guy). I don't know how else to describe him physically, but can give a sharp opinion of his attitude and lack of customer...
