Feathers Cafe — Restaurant in Nevada

While ordering take out today @ the feathers cafe (9/10/19 @ 10pm) I was given meat. I have been a vegetarian for many years (for health and religious reasons) and this is the first time this has happened to me at a restaurant. We had called prior to ask for a substitution on the lasagna as I’ve done before at many restaurants, as soon as I was assured it could be done we went down stairs to order in person. When we arrived I ordered the “MEATLESS ONLY CHEESE” lasagna to go with the waitress. therefore the cafe had been made aware twice... After a few bites I realized there was meat in the lasagna and at this point very upset and felt uneasy. My partner took back the rest of the uneaten food The supervisor apologized and explained she had let the chef know before about it.. she did not offer a refund only a future comped meal. I do not feel this is acceptable or compensates for the lost time, money and emotional stress. I...

The staff is awful, very unfriendly and lack customer service. It took forever to get our order and there was only one other family eating at that time. When we finally got our drinks the waitress accidently put her finger in my son's juice. She thought I didn't see it and left. I asked another waiter to please give me another as I explained what happned, and he seemed annoyed by it. It looked like he just got a bigger cup and poured the same juice into it since it was dripping juice on one side of the cup. Of course I didn't let my son drink it. Our waitress turned into the nicest person when it was time for our bill, I'm sure it was expecting a tip but the bad service could not convince me to accept her new found customer service skills. The food was ok, but nothing that I would go out of my way to return...

Incident #1. Hostess was rude and demanded we spilt our party of 6 with 2 children, into two tables. She demanded that our party would be sat on opposite sides of the cafe. We left.

Incident #2. The following day, a quarter of our party was already seated and my wife and I walked in to go meet them. As we passed the empty hostess station, the same hostess, yelled from across the cafe, that we had to wait to be seated. Really…. I haven’t been treated so immature, with such consistency since the Army.

The only reason for 3 stars is because the waitress who helped out our family was very nice. Hostess, not so much.
