As much as I wanted to give a higher rating, they just haven’t earned it—at least not yet. Here’s a quick recap of our experience: the food was pretty oily, and the prices didn’t feel reasonable!

One example is their Paksiw. We asked the woman taking our order how many pieces of fish come with the small size—she said one. Then we asked how much the large size costs—she said $12.50. So we asked again, how many pieces of fish come with the large? Her answer? Still just one. We repeated it back to her, and she confirmed it.

My partner and I looked at each other, confused. Are we paying more just for extra broth or what? 😂 It made no sense. So of course, we went...

THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. IT IS HIGHLY FRUSTRATING. WE ALL GET OFF WORK AT 5ISH PM. SO WE TRY TO CALL THE PHIL HOUSE OR ISLAND PACIFIC PHONE # THEY HAVE SO WE CAN ORDER PALABOK FOR PICK UP. BUT NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. VERY DISAPPOINTING. AND TO THINK, THEIR FOOD, MOST ESPECIALLY THE PALABOK TASTE WAAAAAAY BETTER THAN SEAFOOD CITY. I'D SAY ALL OF THE VIANDS THEY SELL TASTE BETTER THAN SEAFOOD CITY. BUT THEY NEVER EVER ANSWER...

Online it says they’re open or will take orders up until 8pm. I placed an order around 7:08pm and the refused my order. They didn’t give any reasoning, they didn’t say we’re out of the items you ordered, nothing. Apparently great food, just don’t plan on ordering takeout anytime “close” to closing time. Why not just say you close at 7pm or that you don’t take Togo orders a full hour before you...
