The Bar - Tropicana & Durango — Restaurant in Spring Valley

During my recent visit to The Bar, I had a mixed experience. The food was truly delicious, which I appreciated immensely. However, I encountered some challenges with the customer service that I believe could be addressed for a better overall experience.

It took quite a while—over an hour—to receive a refill on my soda, which was a bit frustrating. I noticed that my needs may not have been prioritized since I wasn't participating in gambling activities. Even after ordering a soda and asking for the check, it required reaching out to a second bartender and waiting an additional 14 minutes for the check.

I see great potential for this venue, and I genuinely hope the management can enhance the service experience. With improved attention to all customers' needs, The Bar could really shine.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to The Bar at Tropicana and Durango, and I must say, my experience was completely transformed. Initially, I had a rather underwhelming visit, but this time, the service was absolutely phenomenal – thanks to Natalie! She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. Her warm personality and efficiency really turned my visit around, and it made me appreciate the place so much more.

The atmosphere at The Bar is casual and laid-back, making it a great spot for a relaxed evening out. The menu is full of great options, and the drinks are always top-notch. However, it was the outstanding service from Natalie that truly set this visit apart from my first. It’s clear that the staff here really cares about creating a great experience for guests, and I’m so glad I gave it another chance.

My wife and I stopped in last night with 5 friends to have a "nightcap" before heading home. Asked for a barely wine... this bar had a 2 year old 22 oz Ale Smith still left in the fridge aging. Server was hesitant to serve it. I told him Christmas came early and i would gladly drink it, then write about it lol. That MADE MY NIGHT. It was absolutely amazing.

Now let's talk about Eric the grave bartender. On POINT ! Absolutely professional and took great care of us and put up with us as we played shuffle board till 3 am. Sorry Eric... I'm pretty sure we got really loud but it was the shuffle boards fault.

Ordered ubereats and picked up myself on 11/3/24 around 2am. Pickup was about 2:18am. I ordered The Melt Medium Rare. Temp on the burger was good, but the cook gave me soggy, undercooked fries that were cold and tasted raw. Probably in retaliation for me politely asking for a side of Ranch in the order notes, that I also didn't receive. I live about 2 miles from this location and it's not possible that the fries expired in the commute back to my house and the burger was still good. I hope a store manager reads this review, because I would like this meal refunded. I've ordered from this store location several times and have the digital receipts...
