We have been ordering from here regularly since you opened. One order was wrong several months ago (when we got home) and despite having to drive back to correct, everyone was apologetic and nice about it. Tonight though, 6/5/21, was a completely different experience. We ordered online via the Chicken Shack site, as we always do, however in picking up the wings tonight, they were not sauced or flavored. The young cashier informed me that the standard for online orders is that everything is on the side. This is a first in about two years, so I attempted to explain to her that, this is actually a first in about 50 orders, all on Saturdays. She wanted to let me know that "she works a lot of Saturdays" to further confirm I am wrong and she is right. She sent the wings to the one person working in the kitchen. He started sprinkling the flavor mix onto them whilst still in the container. I asked if they could please toss them in a bowl as they would normally and they did eventually comply. Sauced ones were okay; dry ones were flavorless as not flavored when hot. Beyond the bad wings at your premium price, the items I cannot get over are that a) the place was completely empty--I literally pondered that this was a hold-up and the real staff was hostage in the freezer because it was that bizarre. And, b) the cashier literally tried to convince me that I was wrong, with zero apology, and that somehow I had been imagining sauced wings for my other 50 experiences. And, you would think with a Wing Stop now open 20 feet away, service at the much more expensive place would be exceptional. I guess that explains the emptiness. Read moreThe latest visit on 1/30/25, I picked up a family style bucket of chicken strips, coleslaw, potato salad, and macaroni salad as the sides. I also chose Honey BBQ, Teriyaki, and Chipotle BBQ sauces. They had the order ready within 15 min. I asked for utensils, plates, and napkins since I was dropping this off to the ER staff at So Hills Hospital. They had helped me with my husband ER visit, and I wanted to thank them with some food for their assistance. They enjoyed receiving this treat mid day.
Previous visit I had a groupon for this location, and it was football game day. Ordered chicken fingers, baked beans, garlic fries, potato salad, garlic parmesan, sweet chili, honey bbq, and spicy ranch dips.
Chicken fingers and sides were delicious, along with the various dips. Enjoyed these while watching the game. This was a take out order, and I had my printed groupon with me. The cashier said they could not accept the paper coupon. They had no scanner. I had to pull up the Groupon in my app, or they couldn't take it.
It ended up being a bit of a hassle since I had to download the app and figure out my husbands sign in. The groupon was in his account. I've always used the paper groupon since it gives all the details and scan code info. I wished the person who took our order via a phone call would have mentioned this before about needing to use the app, not the paper copy before I arrived.
Inside the dining area was clean and orderly. There is plenty of parking, but it can be congested if other locations nearby...
Read moreDon’t think I will be coming back to this location. First time everything was great. Service was amazing and food was great. Second time it was like it wasn’t the same place. Let’s start off with the sick cashier. He was sick and taking peoples orders and handling food and sauces with no mask. You could look at his eyes and tell he is sick. Couldnt even project his voice. Brought out my food and dropped the sauces on me trying to stuff everything in one bag. Then when I told him he missed one of my sauces he argued with me that I would have to pay for more. Order comes with 4 sauces and he gave me 3. Then got home and realized no ranch or blue cheese that I paid for. Called to be reimbursed and the cashier hung up on me. Then when I called back he told me I would have to come in to be reimbursed. Said there was no manager which how can the store run with no manager. Had to beg for the order number from the receipt that was never given. Always went to the location on st rose never had an issue. Pray we dont get sick from having sick employees handling food. With zaxbys, wing stop, and Bojangles being your competitors right in the area you might want to do better...
