Updated: Yup, tried it again... I'm definitely good with this place... It's a BIG NO for me... Went to pick up Chicken Wings, they were plentiful, the box could nearly close it was so stuffed... Unfortunately, while the nice lady working was trying to put them in a brown bag, they were dropped onto the floor.. It's whatever, we're human, accidents happen, it was no big deal at all.. So I waited the extra minutes to get "fresh wings"... Fresh, is what I don't think happened... In 5 minutes or less I was handed the bag with the "fresh wings"... When I returned home I opened the bag of wings to find the same size box with only a half of container of the wings... I'm convinced, that the pieces actually touching the floor were thrown away, and the rest of the box was just closed back up and handed to me... When in doubt, throw it out!
Ok, soooooo... Just recently started working in the area.. I've asked around about this place before ordering.. every single person I have asked has had the same response of, "it depends on what you order, something's are good and others not so much", sooooo I'm going to share MY experience.. The hot and sour soup is great except there is nothing hot about it, so if you like spicy, I suggest you ask for it extra spicy... The house lo mein is on point... Chicken wings on point... Boneless spareribs on point.. fried shrimp? I'd definitely pass on.. chicken fingers are on point.. beef teriyaki? Another hard pass.. egg rolls are wonderful.. Fried Wontons are horrible and tasteless... Don't know why a pupu platter would come with Wontons instead of crab rangoons anyways... That's strange.. but, anyways... Duck sauce? Meehhh... Alright flavor, better than packet, BUT, has the consistency of packet sauce.. for homemade, in my opinion, it should have more of a apple sauce type of consistency... overall I do like this place.. from the outside it doesn't look like much, but, I will go back... Only, like everyone else said... For...
Read moreWell, unfortunately the fried wantons were all so hard & burnt they were completely inedible, they were so overcooked it was hard to tell there was even a very tiny amount of meat inside. I saved the entire bag to show them & return for either a refund or credit & so hopefully improvement with this item for customers could be made, however nope, they did not care and so it's obvious in their minds it's ok for people to pay for food that has to just be thrown in the trash, as if money just grows on trees. Unless someone eats in the restaurant you cannot see the quality of the food items they pack that you payed ahead of time for. It's clear with this place it's "buyer beware" since they have no interest in customer satisfaction and rectifying their errors but will happily take your payment first with no guarantee that what you're given can even be eaten, good to know how much they appreciate & value the patrons keeping them in business when so many other restaurants have not been as fortunate having to close their doors forever. Have more regard for your...
Read moreThis is my uncles favorite Chinese place, So I'm subjected to eat here maybe once a month (Or more depending). I've had the beef and broccoli, It's greasy and flavorless. The general sous chicken has no spice at all, Actually a weird taste. Pork fried rice is okay. Chicken and broccoli is disgusting, The chicken lo mein is disgusting. I've pretty much tried everything and the only decent things I've found is the pork lo mein and sometimes the chicken wings... Not my favorite place to eat. I'm actually typing this while I eat what was supposed to be pork lo mein, Instead they gave me beef. So another thing I've tried for the first time here that has just been garbage. Don't know what kind of meat they use here but it's always so...
