Wings Over New Bedford — Restaurant in New Bedford

I order from this place quite often, it’s actually one of my favorites, however, there’s been a slow decline in customer service that has been deterring me from ordering here as I once used to. The young lady who picks up the phone is very rude and has no sense of customer service nor do I think she understands the impact she’s making against the chain. I’m sure she knows who she is, one who’s always talking so “ghetto”. I’ve had my orders wrong a few times and I’ve called just to ask them to be a bit more attentive. Because we as customers expect to get what we’re paying for. Granted, it’s not a big deal as we all make mistakes, it’s just life. Last time I called there was because, as I said, mistakes happen and they got my order wrong. I called them let them know and please be more attentive. She got very defensive and annoyed, I understand it wasn’t her fault but this wasn’t mines either. My whole point was to try and communicate with them that this has been going on a few times already and make them aware, but it was obvious from her attitude and she gave no f* what you thought. The wings are really good. Only issue is the hottest sauce they have, which I believe is "Afterburner", isn't as hot as described. It's as hot as mild. It tastes good, though.

EDIT: I got the Honey BBQ on 1/8/22 and it was effin good. Really good sauce.

EDIT: It's 11/24/2024 and Wings Over really revamped everything, from their food to their website. The quality of their food went way up. The presentation is different, with a cardboard box with little trays as opposed to the plastic snap boxes with paper that separated the wings. They have crinkle fries instead of waffle fries now. They definitely use better quality wings now. The cookies are better, they're soft and taste good rather than the previous ones that were a little harder and tasted weird. They give big servings of ranch/blue cheese and the blue cheese is homemade. This is the first order I've had in a while so I'm not sure if it was a fluke and/or the packing was different this one time but I'm happy with...

I used to love this place but with the new change of management it's all been downhill recently. The quality of chicken is not what it used to be and now they are revamping their menu which includes taking away the only sauce I order (Oriental sesame) among others, removing french fries entirely in favor of their rock hard subpar waffle fries, and charging per piece instead of per pound. Depending on the piece u may be very disappointed because the size range on tenders is vast and the prices are not great. You could potentially get 2 nugget sized tenders for $8 now instead of paying per weight! Also, Not everyone enjoys spicy so why remove one of the only few sweet flavors when you have a ton of super spicy flavors?! How much heat do u need?
