Salonika House Of Pizza — Restaurant in New Bedford

Order at 8:15, picked up at 9. Google says they close at 10. I was not told otherwise. Upon walking in I was treated like garbage from the owner I assume. I’m also assuming it was due to the fact that it was the last couple minutes because they actually close at 9. Usually I would NEVER order last minute, I just thought they had another hour to go. He told me he couldn’t take my card and had the rudest face and attitude on. I told him that I don’t treat my own customers like this; that even when you close the last customer is just as important as the first. He said he doesn’t need my money or tips…I mean…just blown away. You think when you work retail/food you understand that everyone has their moments I just excepted a lot more from the manager. Food was 1 hour old. Pizza hard and greasy cardboard. Dried up bacon cheese fries. This order was for a large gathering of dear friends. We Specifically requested a delivery time of 7:15pm. Explained that no one will be home until 7pm due to attending a church mass. At 6:15, they texted that the delivery driver was there. We were still at church. We told them to take the order back and remake it and deliver it as requested. THEY REFUSED TO REMAKE THE ORDER AND DELIVERED FOOD THAT WAS 1 HOUR OLD. WE CALLED TO COMPLAIN. After arguing with us, THE OWNER YELLED AT US AND HUNG UP ON US.

I love Greek style pizza and Salonika's Pizza is Greek pizza perfection. Quality ingredients and preparation! The crust is crispy but chewy and always cooked to perfection and most of all I love that they have sliced linguica pizza, not the inferior, cheaper ground linguica. Everything I've eaten here has been great thus far and I can't stress this enough, it's not just the quality of the food but also the careful and caring preparation. They care and that makes a world class difference. My experience with the staff is always friendly and enjoyable, A+, 5 star service....
