Though there are a few tables, this is mostly a take out restaurant. Don't let that stop you from trying some of the best Mexican/Central American food I've had in my travels.

When you open the door to enter, the first thing you'll notice is the unique aroma of freshly-made tortillas. This alone will tell you that you are going to get something very special.

Next, you'll see a big, bright, and colorful menu on the wall that takes a while to read. It has a whole gamut of food and variations on the theme cuisine. Seriously, take the time to read it. There's a bit of everything from the region; both the familiar and the unusual.

Order your meal and find a seat. This "fast food" isn't quite as fast as a McBurger you may be used to. What you'll get is a generous meal that's made with care and tastes that way.

I have ordered the same thing from this restaurant about 25 times. Enchiladas, with a side of chips. The last time I ordered, they completely forgot the enchiladas and only put my boyfriend’s meal. I called, they said sorry, and sent another one through doordash. This time however today- I order my food for lunch before work, again I always order the same thing- It gets here, I take a bite and it’s immediately sour in my mouth. The crema/cheese combination sauce on top was expired. It had a curdled texture to it as well. So i call and explain my issue and with saying sorry the lady tastes the cheese sauce and says “Well it tastes fine to me.” I can say I’ll never be ordering from this place again. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've been too where the birria taco plate didnt come with rice and beans or salad or really anything. The tacos had no cheese and weren't fried just the onion and cilantro. I asked for toppings and was charged for each topping. Although it was a generous amount of toppings I ended up with giant falling apart birria tacos with no cheese at all just birria pico and sour cream I ended up eating with a fork. Also my friend and I bough 6$ "cheesecake" their words not ours. It was not cheesecake. And it was covered in mold. Refused a refund we had to take a replacement that the waitress asked us to check for mold ourselves!! Definitely sticking with Taquiera...
