Tried it for the first time today. My wife and I were seated faster than the predicted wait time. That was the only good part of this experience.
After we ordered, the incompetent waitress brought out the wrong order for me, then looked at me like a deer in the headlights when I tried to explain to her that this was not what I had ordered. She argued with me stating that if she brought out my actual order I would be charged an additional fee. She did not want to go back and bring me out my actual meal. So eventually after much teeth pulling, I got her to go back and bring me out the pancakes that I had actually asked for when she originally took my order. I had also gotten the biscuits and gravy. After one bite I set them aside and sent them back because they were the worst biscuits and gravy I had ever had. They essentially tasted like biscuits and buttery water. Gross.
Well, now comes bill time and oooooh boy. I don't know who gave this waitress a job, but maybe he needs to really reflect on his hiring practices. Our waitress decided to add a whole extra meal that we didn't order onto our bill. I did my best to politely explain to her that she mistakenly added this extra meal, but she just could not get it. She argued back at me, trying to force me to pay for the extra meal she brought out through her own incompetence that I did not ask for and did not eat. Her manager had to come out and ask what the heck was going on and thank G-d she did. She could at least kind of understand that we didn't order and wouldn't be paying for the extra meal, but she failed to understand that I sent back the terrible biscuits and gravy. Well fine, we paid the extra cost of that disgusting meal that we sent back and didn't eat just to get the heck out of the situation and go on with our day.
I will never come back here and truly encourage anyone to avoid this place like...
Read moreIt was Mother's Day so a break must be given to the cheery staff who did their best. We waited 45mins to get a seat outdoors. None available inside but a high top so we opted for outdoors whereupon we were met with a waft of foul smelling air. We noticed a lot of standing water present at the back of the building and a steady stream of what might've been effluent flowing along side, down toward the noisy, main street. Metal tables with hard metal chairs. No salt and pepper or any condiments on any table which I thought strange for an all day breakfast menu. The waiter asked us if we'd like something to drink. My wife wanted water and I asked for decaffeinated coffee. We'll, this had to have been the weakest dishwater I had ever drank. So, I asked the waiter if I asked for a latte would the the coffee be any stronger. She replied "Oh yes!" The only thing different was the frothy cream on top. Same tasteless excuse for a coffee but way more expensive. Very disappointing. We had to ask for the salt and pepper which came three quarters of the way through the meal. My wife ordered some kind of a meat omelet. It was very dry and the tiny paper cup of ketchup didn't help. I had ordered the standard eggs over easy, hashbrowns and turkey link sausage. You couldn't call this a generous portion by any means and the 3 inch links were dry and shriveled. I got a slice of bread but no jams were offered to accompany it. We heard a lot of hype about this place and were eager to try it out but my o' my, what a huge disappointment. I gave the place 4 stars for service but they don't get a lot of support from the owners who have decided to cut corners...
