I'm extremely disappointed. It took a very long time to deliver and I was craving pizza so bad, but was one of the worst pizzas I could imagine. Some people may like this so this is more off personal preference but if it can help someone else out who it wouldn't fit their needs then that I think is helpful. The crust is so thick and crumbly. It reminds me of a gluten free/whole grain chef boyardee boxed, make at home pizza. For such thick crust It crumbles and has a interesting aftertaste. I've just never seen anything like it for a pizza place. It's like thick stacked moist crackers, The bread is very basic. Hard, rubbery cheese on dry bread slices. Which taste better made at home and I like going to places because it's a taste you can't get at home. I don't think it was made wrong or that the company is bad, but this pizza is not satisfying for anyone who has similar pizza and cheesy bread expectations and doesn't want to waste 40-50$ I wouldn't care as much if it was earlier in the day and I could donate it to a homeless individual so that I wouldn't have guilt of throwing so much food away. I'm just very let down and disappointed to be frank. I'm glad it is other...
Read moreNot sure if this is somewhere you should only get pizza (although I see mixed reviews on that as well), but the regular menu food was possibly the worst food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I ordered the Italian hoagie and my friend ordered the lasagna.
Hoagie-not the worst thing I've ever had, but not worth 11.99 for sure. It was basically some subpar lunch meat, shredded lettuce, and slices of American "cheese" on bread. I asked for the broasted potatoes in the side, which came out as one giant lump if soggy, half cooked, very greasy sliced potatoes. No seasoning, no flavor. All stuck together.
Lasagna-I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure this was just a frozen lasagna. Again, whatever, but for 11.99 they should make their own. Give me frozen if I am at a dive bar and it's $4. It didn't even taste good for frozen, either. Also, my friend for the "salad" with it. It was a bowl of shredded lettuce (like the kind you would put atop a taco pizza) with some mozzarella cheese. Lastly, the garlic toast on the side was plain. Barely toasted bread with no butter, olive...
Read moreI really do like Adagios, I've been going here since I was a kid. The reason I give 2 stars in this review is because of one experience that I will never forget; I'm not sure if they hired a new manager, but we had the WORST experience there other day. They charged us full price during happy hour, so we asked them to adjust it. They changed some of the prices, but not all. They adjusted it again after we questioned it, but our drinks were still coming up full price. The server didn't know what to do so he had the manager on duty come over. We asked her why the rail drink we ordered (a screwdriver) was $1 more than advertised. She told us that orange juice costs extra in the drink. She insisted that almost all bars charge extra for juice. (We all know that is a false statement.) We argued with her for just a bit, but she would not take the time to listen or try to make it right. Bottom line, we sucked it up and ended up leaving. They got to keep the dollar. TERRIBLE experience. Hopefully that particular manager will not be expected to lead their bar into any...
