Brown's Doughnut & Pastry Co — Restaurant in New Britain Township

I am so glad a place like this has opened up in Chalfont! It's nice to not have to drive into Doylestown to get a decent cup of coffee and a baked good since our only options are really Dunkin or Manhattan. The staff and the general vibe has been great both times I've gone since they've opened. I love that the storefront has a bright, clean feel to it. Prices are very fair in comparison to other local bakeries, so I hope that stays relatively the same as time goes on. My partner has enjoyed his coffee and I like their cold brew- according to other reviews, their lattes are good, so that will probably be in my rotation at my next visit (: My only major criticism is that, while the flavors have been great, some baked goods seem texturally off. The baked goods from the case feel slightly stale and the donuts have a bit of a chewier texture than what we expected. All in all, this is definitely our new weekend "sweet treat"...

cute little bakery! The hours on the door aren't accurate & thankfully they're open later than it says. I've been there a couple times now and the staff is always so friendly and patient, happy to answer any questions. I had their "flavor of the month" donut which was french toast, which really did taste like french toast & was topped with a lot of very rich icing. The crumb danish is very yummy too. But my favorite has been their scones! The absolute best scones I've had!!! A crunchy exterior with a soft slightly chewy & doughy inside. I've tried the blueberry and the chocolate chips. Sometimes words are just words! But this is sincere! Brown's took care of my granddaughter's First Holy Communion cake and cookies. Your staff was delightful to work with...including the service at pick-up. The design was "exactly" what my granddaughter envisioned. The flavors, the freshness...were amazing! And the cookies were so beautiful! Everyone raved about the cake, and many asked about this bakery. Brown's is now my "go-to" bakery! Thank you for being a part of this...
