I been at Chinese restaurants around the world NEVER have i experienced such poor customer service! The absolute WORST, save your money. I ordered a lunch special after, spending my hard earned money there for me and a co worker. I got a shrimp lo mein only to open the container when he got back and it had HALF lo mein half pork fried rice. I called and ask why, why didn’t the whole container have lo mein, they proceeded to tell me it came with it and if I wanted only lo mein it would’ve been in a smaller container Now, that’s fair BUT this was a first cause never have I had rice come w my dish and BE IN MY DISH! Needless to say it was pork fried rice! Which is why I ordered shrimp to begin w/ cause I DONT EAT PORK! The man that answered the phone was acting like he was doing me a favor and proceeded to yell at me and argue w me telling me “how am I supposed to know” and “next time know what you’re ordering” despite the fact that I was never made aware that the food came w rice to begin w/ that it would all be in the same plate and it would INCLUDE PORK WHICH I DONT EAT. He proceeded to raise his voice and tell me it were my fault when all This could’ve been resolved very quickly and easily. There was no ACCOUNTABILITY, APOLOGIES OR EMPATHY FOR THEIR MISTAKE! Read moreI've ordered from Chinese Kitchen New Britain around less than 10 times now. Each time, their prices end up changing despite me ordering for the same stuff. I get Singapore MiFeng, Sesame Chicken Combo with Fried dumplings. Usually, all of that comes around $20+. But just recently, I ended up paying $40 bucks for the same stuff minus the dumplings and gave the driver a 10 dollar tip out of pressure from the lady on the phone. Shes also stated that if the Singapore MiFeng is separated, its $18+. same goes if you were to get the Sesame chicken combo separate, its yhe same price, and they dont take orders under $20 bucks? So if thats how you act realistically, you lose money and a customer. Thats the behavior you'll be met with if thats how you'll act towards your customers. Business is Business, this I understand. But to haggle your regulars for tips is a step closer to losing regulars. Safe to say their prices randomly increase and decrease based on who's in the kitchen and who picks up the phone. Most of the time I'll get a man who's sometimes short tempered and very little patience I have picked up from him.
