Jin Yung's House — Restaurant in New Britain

Update. 12/22/2021 I decided to go back and see if things have changed so I call and order chicken wings she says no we don't have any and so I said ok I'll call back. I decided on half a chicken as I was reading off the menu because if you don't they give you bogus prices and she starts screaming at the top of her lungs that's its $5 more and that I have an old menu. Mind you I understand that there has been inflation ever since the whole Covid/stimulus. I would have been fine with it but her attitude did a 180 when I was ordering off the menu. I now order from Happy Garden in Kensington which is a 5 minute drive. Mind you I literally live across the street from this restaurant. I use to love coming here on a weekly basis but the price gouging and now horrible customer service will keep me from every coming back. This is my original review......The food is phenomenal. I stopped going there because of the credit card fee and over charges. You have to order a minimum of $14 or they charge you a fee which is nonsense. Also if you don't check the menu they will tack on extra charges. If the Menu reads $7.25 they say $9.00 (Pick up) Ive noticed this everytime I call them without reading off the menu. The sad thing is I live withing walking distance. Now I drive 5 minutes down the road to Kensington. Good food overall but won't come back because of the fees...

The worst Chinese restaurant in New Britain Just moved here and ordered twice from here. The 1st was the wrong order. They gave me some small fried dumpling things saying it's sweet and sour chicken. When I ordered Garlic Chicken and pork fried rice. This time I had to take a stand. This is supposed to be Garlic Chicken and fried rice. Run down little shack that looks like it'll give you food poisoning from driving by. Not sure how new Britain allows this. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and not only did they give the smallest container of sauce but it tasted like bathwater with red food coloring that cost me $9 for over fried chicken. Couldn't believe it. Should have listened...
