This place has gone such down hill from when I used to go. I had ordered a chicken cutlet with lettuce tomato cheese. The lettuce was brown and nasty and some of the cutlets were burnt and was very dried out. I ordered also a meatball with the request of provolone on all of it with half onion. When I got it it had what I asked but had all peppers on it. I dont like peppers nor do my kids. They never said it had peppers then the the manager / owner said well it's on the menu it comes with peppers that I should have read the menu. I dont know all but when I order a pizza ,grinder, sandwich you probably dont look at a menu when you order over phone cuss it's pretty much the same any where you when you know what you want and state it to the person answering the phone. They should have said something how would I know what to ask for not to have on it when im telling what I want. Also then afterwards checked It online menu and it says nothing about peppers. He was all bs I have no idea how this place runs a business he was rude very unprofessional he made me the person with the problem of his grinder which by the way it sucked gross 😝 but that's beside the point my kids didn't want to eat it cuss it had peppers and he didn't carw so sad cuss this place was a great place. It was such poor business ill never go again. Also reporting to better business bureau and consumer protection agency. This was not proper business. There are so many pizza places I suggest you look at a different one. The food really is no big deal save your money. Totally discussed on the...
Read moreI had gone to paradise every so often and loved their food.
So I decided to order a 16 inch Italian combo (cold not toasted) and personal pizza.
Upon getting the order I noticed the sub felt warm and I thought perhaps it was just sitting on top of the pizza
Get it home. Nope it was toasted. I specifically said in the instructions not to heat it to keep it cold.
I called to ask if I had made the mistake or if they had and the person read me what i wrote verbatim asking for it to be kept cold. He said he could make a new one but that meant I would have to cone back to get it or ask for a refund from slice.
Ended up seeing if slice would deliver a replacement and they put me on hold and came back and told me the store had declined to refund me. What? So I had the slice rep call back with me on the line and the second time they opted to authorize the refund.
It's a shame that this person (who I think is the owner) decided to lose a loyal customers business for their own mistake. His attitude was cooked or not cooked it's basically the same. No when you cook salami and other meats they release juries and grease and the entire dynamic of the sandwich changes. The cheese is melted the lettuce is wilted and the tomatoes are less tasty as well. His mistake and he compounded it with his behavior and attitude.
Don't go here. It's a shame this person doesn't...
Read moreThis quaint little Mom & Pop eating spot is tucked away in a small industrial park area outside of Berlin, CT. My girlfriend and I decided to treat her family with some Italian-style food. We performed a Google search and this place popped up with some very positive and convincing views.
The ordering process was very streamlined and easy through their website, but it is also positive to place an order via phone.
The pick-up area inside the restaurant and was a little bit crowded at first, as we eventually decided to wait outside and adequately social distance.
The food was absolutely amazing! Not a single person had a negative things to say about the taste and quality of the food. I personally had a turkey and cheese grinder, and the portions of meat and cheese provided exceeded my expectations as I felt I was getting the most for my money, as compared to similar eating...
