Made reservations for four people 2 weeks prior to going. Then today was the day for our 11 am reservation and we arrived 15 minutes before 11 and were told they don’t take reservations and whoever told me that was in the wrong and the host then added our name to the bottom of the waitlist. We were told it would be 20 minutes then we would be seated. The waiting room was packed and there was no social distancing at all so we went right out the front door and waited. Then two people from our party went inside and waited because it was cold and to listen for our names. Then over 30 minutes goes by and other people who came in after us went in and were seated. So I then asked the hostess how much longer and she said she thought we left and took us off the list when we didn’t and were right outside of the door. She then told us we would have to wait and took others back before us. Then we asked to speak with the manager and we waited another 10 minutes when a waitress came out to speak with us and still told us we would have to wait but we still were not on the list. Then we asked where the manager was and she was just too busy to make things right so she never came out. Our party would’ve had problem with this restaurant if they just would have made things right but that never happened. They just basically ignored us and wanted to argue instead of just making things right. I will never recommend them after this happened. I couldn’t even believe how we were treated. This is the Springfield location that took...
Read moreHey there, I've got another Ohio culinary gem to share with you! Today, we explored the delicious offerings of Studabaker's Country Restaurant in New Carlisle, and let me tell you, it's a breakfast haven like no other.
I decided to dive into the breakfast skillet with home fries, and it was a revelation. The home fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a real testament to the art of potato cooking. The addition of fresh ingredients made every bite an explosion of taste. It's one of those dishes where you just can't resist scooping up a bit of everything with each forkful.
My wife went for the Philly cheesesteak omelet. It's not your ordinary omelet; it's an omelet with attitude! The generous helping of thinly sliced steak, sautéed onions, and gooey cheese brought the essence of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich right to the breakfast table. It's savory, it's cheesy, and it's downright indulgent.
And let's not forget the atmosphere. Studabaker's has that cozy, down-home vibe that makes you feel like you're dining with family. The friendly staff and warm ambiance make every visit a memorable one.
Overall, Studabaker's Country Restaurant in New Carlisle is a must-visit for breakfast aficionados.
So, if you're in the mood for a breakfast adventure that'll tantalize your taste buds, head on over to Studabaker's. You won't be...

I always order the same thing the roast beef hot shot with fries and a side of jello. We'll today the waitress we had told me I couldn't sub the mash potatoes for fries. I told her I have always done that and that's the way I order it at the other locations as well? She implied i was lying and said we never have done that and they don't either. I replied I'm not lying that's what I have been ordering the past 3 year can you please check with your manager. She huffed and replied ill check with her but we have never done that. So another lady walked back to our table and said we have never done that. Again basically saying I'm lying. I told her I have been ordering like this since I moved here 3 years ago? She replied well we don't do that , but I'll let the owner know what you said??? So I say there for a couple of minutes with my wife and decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. We will no longer be dining at any of there locations as long as these 2 women work there. We will also not be recommending it to any of our...
