I typically love Smoothie King and have been a loyal customer for years, especially from my time living in Indy. I understand that some locations get busier than others, and I’m always willing to be patient when customer service meets the moment with transparency and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this location.
We waited in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes without ever being acknowledged. There was no way to exit the line, which made the situation even more frustrating. I eventually went inside, only to find the lobby packed—people waiting for orders, a long line at the counter, and several others in the drive-thru line behind us clearly in the same situation.
What was most disappointing wasn’t just the delay—it was the complete lack of communication. Not a single employee came out or made an effort to let customers know there was an extended wait or to thank anyone for their patience. Even a simple “We’re running behind, but we appreciate you bearing with us” would have gone a long way.
I understand that this might be a newer location and that growing pains are real. But in my experience, it’s customer service that makes the difference when operations get backed up. I’m hopeful this feedback can be used constructively to improve the experience for others...

I guess plastic isn’t on the no no list. Does being served 44 ounces of bits of blended plastic meet the clean blends promise? Not sure how someone could blend an entire green scoop in a smoothie without being fully aware of what they are doing! I took the smoothie up there and showed the “manager” the blended up pieces mixed with my smoothie and they said there was nothing they could do about it and offered me some coupons so I’ll definitely be contacting the corporate office! I have always ordered the same thing for years: Strawberry gladiator smoothie with spinach. Past 2 times coming to this specific location, idk if they're just not putting enough strawberries in it or none at all. I couldn't even taste the strawberries and the smoothie was straight puke green both times which told me it wasn't made correctly because it's always been pink at other locations. All it tasted like was watered down protein powder with ground spinach.
