One night, I was quite tipsy and I walked to Casa Bianca to pick up some dinner to bring back home. I didn’t realize that I had left my wallet there after paying for my food and leaving with it. I had just gotten a new job that day, so I had my social security card in the wallet.
When I woke up, of course I went looking around for my wallet and I became frantic when I realized it was nowhere to be found. This was around 10 AM but I still called the restaurant because I knew that there are people prepping before they open for business. I asked if they had found a wallet and I gave a description of what it looked like.
The man on the phone (I’m assuming the owner) responded that he indeed found my wallet and that he had immediately put it in the safe and locked it up after he saw that I had accidentally left it behind.
