Panda Hut Chinese Take-Out — Restaurant in New Haven

Ordered sesame chicken that I'm pretty sure was just General Tso's because there was no sesame in sight, and the sauce it was tossed in was dark red unlike the lighter amber sauce used for sesame chicken.

Dumplings had a very thick dough coating which masked lots of the meat flavor, and the cabbage in the lo mein was very limp and stringy instead of crisp and crunchy which really didn't mesh well with the noodles. It also had a chicken bone inside which...was not expected.

Last but certainly not least, not a single fortune cookie. Total bummer.

Also, parking outside was a schitt show and a guy asked me for a dollar, which I happily gave to avoid any bad karma, yet the food still disappointed.

Only went to this place because it was the next best reviewed after China Cafe - my usual spot that unfortunately is...

1 star will often b given simply for getting the order correct! these ppl robbed me. I used a cc which they said didn't go thru, so, liike an idiot, I have a different card number. By the time I got home, some1 owned a brand new Maserati, 4 Rolex watches, and 2 round trip tickets to Tahiti! On me!!! My home à went into foreclosure behind this! Of course when I confronted them they denied it, and thə police are useless in cases liike this..? They never even showed up...

Will hi to all my husband used to work in front of this restaurant and he loves ❤️ this place my husband name Pete Loco 😊 as a friend so he knows who we are when we order on the phone and say Loco 😀 his food is the best in newhaven and his chicken wings are the bomb ty. Loco for being a good 👍...
